MAYTAG LAT8506AAE WASHER - TERRIBLE NOISE/VIBRATION ON SPIN

I recently moved my washer away from the wall to install new water hoses. Since I moved it back, it vibrates and makes an awful noise when going through the spin cycle. It does not cut off from being out of balance. The cycle completes. The vibration can literally be felt all over the house. The washer seems to be sitting pretty level. Is there a balancing mechanism that needs to be checked? If so, where and how do I go about it?

Thanks for your help.! I tipped the washer over and I did adjust the front leg leveler a little bit. I ran a load of wash and it was fine, just like before the problem started.

Try this for re-setting the balancing mechanism:
With the washer empty, tip tip it forward so that it is just sitting on the front feet. Hold it there for a few seconds, then gently lower the back down. (Often there is a mechanism in the back feet that automatically levels it for you--if this doesn't work, check that the back feet are not damaged.)

Okay sorry, I just investigated further...if the instructions above don't work, then yours needs to be levelled manually. Place a level on top of the machine and and adjust the legs as shown in this PDF manual (which is not in English)

Maytag Neptune washer machine won't spin or fully drain

    • 1 Open your home's breaker box and flip the circuit breaker switch to "On." If it is already set to "On," flip it to "Off" and then back to "On" to reset it. A power surge may have interrupted your wash cycle so the drain/spin cycle never actually started.
    • 2 Move the washer away from the wall and straighten the drain hose if it is twisted or turned in a way that makes it difficult for water to flow through it. Replace a kinked hose with a new hose.

    • 3 Push on the washer door to make sure it is fully closed. The washer will not drain or spin unless the door is closed tight. Press the "Start/Pause" button after you close the door.
    • 4 Wait for about 30 seconds after you press "Start/Pause." The washer will not operate until it has been able to fully lock the door and restart the drain process.
    • 5 Run the clothes through a complete cycle again, making sure you use cold water if there are a lot of suds in the washer. Too much soap in the washer can make it hard to drain. Use high-efficiency or low-sudsing detergents on subsequent uses.

We just had a new top-load Maytag Washer delivered. When the man finished installing it, he started a wash cycle and left. When it got to the spin cycle there was a lot of vibration. It doesn't...

NO. Have you checked if he installed an anti vibration pads. This is because the high frequency vibrations caused by the spin cycle can cause annoying noise and very serious long term structural damage to you home.

Maytag front load washer will not unlock

Try unplugging the washer for 30 seconds then run a rinse and spin cycle. If it is still acting up you can remove the top panel and reach your arm down the front right side and find the door latch assembly. At the bottom up it is a pull tab. Pull that down and you will release the door latch. Image Whirlpool WP8182634 Door Lock Latch PartSelect

Maytag mavz757aww will fill but not spin

take a wet dry shop vac and attach it tothe end off the drain hose and remove all the water.once the water is removed move the washer away from the wall. tilt it back and look under the front you should see the drain pump and motor remove the two black hoses and look for anything stuck in the drain pump.
then look for a black rubber piece with two white plastic pieces on both side if this is broken then replace it this is your transmsiion coupler.
if there is nothing wrong with either one of these items then you may need to rpelace the lid switch.

Chck to see that all (6) suspension springs are still attached. Check the plastic snubber ring below the mechanism and above the base plate for cracks or contamination.

Leveled washer gets out of balance when load in spin cycle

A vibration problem is about the hardest thing to diagnose long distance but I will give you the most common things to look for.
Shipping brackets and materials not removed from the machine. You should be able to move the basket around easily by hand. Go over the installation instructions and make sure everything has been removed.
Leveling legs and lock nuts misadjusted or loose. You want the legs adjusted as low to the floor as possible. The higher it sits, the more movement it has.
Weak floor. If you can stomp the floor and have pictures rattle on the wall, you will have vibration problems with the washer. If it is on a laminate hardwood floor, you will have vibration problems. These floors have too much bounce for a washing machine.
The tub support to stiff causing too much vibration to be transferred to the cabinet or not allowing the tub/basket to return to the upright position so that it starts an out of balance spin. Put the washer into a cycle and let it agitate. Before it goes into a spin, open the lid and see if it is leaning awkwardly to one side. If the washer has some years on it, this may be your problem. If you remove the front panel you will see the thick washer the whole unit sits on. If it seems the unit is stiff , you may try spraying a LITTLE wd40 on the base it sits on so it slides easier, but just a little.
Check these things out and you should find your problem.
Thanks/Mike

Whirlpool front loading washer

The 02 error code relates to a drain problem. Check that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Straighten the hose for adequate water flow. Regarding the spinning noises and vibration, open washer's rear panel and look for a released or a malfunction shock absorber. Good luck!
