Make sure that the vents are cleaned to include outside. Where it hook on to the dryer make sure that the housing is cleaned also. That should take care of the problem. Thankyou and if you need more help let us know.

I have a whirlpool gold ultimate care II electric dryer and have to dry everything on high twice to get it dried. any suggestions?

first how is the clothes out of the washer? That might not be spinning fast enough in final spin. When was the last time the dryer vents was cleaned. Do you have a flow out the vent? If so then something might be going on with sensors.

does dryer heats up if yes take hose out from back of your dryer run dryer if you have good power air coming out from your dryer i think your dryer is fine you need to clean your air vent. system.
