Hi...itis not self testing..in otherword the motor in the gearbox is not working, either itis jammed with rust cuz' of leakage or motor is bad.

Try adjusting the grind four numbers coarser and brew a coffee, if you are getting the same result then the brew unit is clogged and the screen needs to be cleaned.

Hi, you shouldn't really use any other lubricant apart from the one recommended, but I have used vaseline on a similar coffee machine, and as long as you keep it away from the brewing head, it should be fine. Do not rinse the brewing head in very hot water as it will wash away any lubricant that is there.

ok with a machine you have already for a while :
Putt descaling solution in the machine. unplu the machine and open the watere valve. Aftre about 2 days it should have desolved.

BUT>>>>>>>>>> what also can be is that the valve on the bottom of the water tank is not working.
Fill it a little and wiggle the valve until water comes out and than try again.

Priming normally goes.

Water in tank. push water button and open valve.
