Try another different network. or a different code. Actually why not try explaining what exactly you are referring to... is this for some software? Are you trying to communicate in code with some alien life form on another planet using Seti? Anyone's guess as to what you are asking is just that a guess, not an intelligent answer, but then your question is not intelligent either.

I cannot connect to the WIFI at work, but I can connect to my WIFI network at home, and other public networks. The wireless network at work is pushed by a D-Link 8200AP with a WAP security, just like it is...

Your laptop cannot connect to your work's wireless network because the security settings (ir WAP) in the D-Link is different to the security setting in your Netgear.
The wireless card in your laptop will need the settings changed to suit the D-Link's wireless settings ie the SSID and WAP.
You will need to change the wireless card settings in your laptop back to the Netgear's wireless settings to connect to your wireless network at home.
Some wireless cards allow you to set up different profiles for different wireless networks which allow you to switch wireless networks easily by just selecting the profile for the network you want to connect to.

What is a mac adress

A mac address is a code that everything on a network has. It's much like your house address. It's unique and networks use MACs in order to make sure that information is going to the proper places. You shouldn't typically have to worry about it, everything is usually taken care of by the network.

Upgrading the motherboard

There is no way to change the MAC address, but you can make Windows tell the system it has a different address that might fool your other program. Follow the instructions below.
Change the MAC address in Windows
  1. Go to Start -> Control Panel. Double click on Network Connections (inside Network and Internet Connections category in Windows XP). The, right click on the active network connection with network adapter that you want to change the MAC address (normally Local Area Network or Wireless Network Connection) and click on Properties. Above steps work in Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 . For Windows Vista, access to NIC’s properties is from Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center -> Manage Network Connections.
Alternatively, if you already know which network adapter that’s responsible for your network or Internet connection, go to Device Manager and open the properties dialog by double click on the NIC itself.
  2. In the General tab, click on the Configure button.
  3. Click on Advanced tab.
  4. In the Property section, select and highlight Network Address or Locally Administered Address.
  5. To the right, “Not Present” radio button is by default selected as value. Change the value by clicking on radio button for Value:, and then type in a new MAC address to assign to the NIC. change-mac-address.jpg The MAC address consists of 6 pairs of numbers (0 - 9) and characters (A - F) combination. For example, 88-17-E8-90-E2-0A. When entering the new MAC value, omit the dash (-), for example 8817E890E20A.
  6. Click OK when done.
  7. To verify the change of MAC address, go to command prompt, then type in one of the following commands: ipconfig /all
    net config rdr
  8. Reboot the computer if successful to make the change effective.

Driver required for HP laserjet 1018 with Applemac OS 10.4.10

Unfortunately, the 1018 is not supported in the mac environment.
Unless you are familiar with changing the source codes from linux to MAC I wouldn't attempt it.

The other option would be to set the printer up on a different machine as default and using a program like NETWORK MAGIC,
network the computers together and share the printer, Use the trial version first to see if it works.

My 3 different mac laptops with airport can't connect to my wirless

Sounds like you might be accidentally connecting to a neighbour's network instead of your own. You need to go into your wireless settings on each laptop and tell them to connect to your own network.

I can't use high speed internet

Can you be more specific as to why you cannot use DSL? your computer is equipped an ethernet port which IS the high speed port. Have you troubleshot the router? have you made sure you ethernet cable is rated CAT5 or higher? Have you called your Network provider? You can verify and active connection by plugging in the network cable and going into your NETWORK PREFERENCES.

Keep me posted.
