Windows Vista 64 bit:
Limited Functionality PC driver support. This driver "should" work on most Windows 7 64 bit machines loaded locally, but it is NOT supported.
Windows Vista 32 bit:
Full Functionality Supported PC Driver limited to 32 bit Windows Vista or older operating systems.
As far as I know you need either the Xerox Accxes controller (like a dedicated PC) or a wide-format printer with the built-in Accxes controller, like the Xerox 8825 model. The 8825 has the firewire input and communicates just fine with the YWC-1.
There are more than one driver on the xerox.com site for that machine, Try a PCL driver or if you are using pcl try the PS, If you have done that, call xerox and ask for second level support and report the problem. They would most likely know by now and could offer the solution. Sounds like a driver screw up.
You can try this driver. It may be quirky at first but it should work for basic printing needs. There is a PCL6 and post script try both sometimes it will take one but not the other. Its vista flip a coin :) -Phil
