Recently purchased this product and was told it was multi regional. However I have Uk discs and also us discs and neither will play. I have 3 connections, white,red and yellow from the player to the tv and it works fine but does not want to play any discs. Please could you advise. The message that appears when disc is loadind says that the wrong disc has been inserted and that displays when I put in either a US disc or a UK disc. Thank you kindly for any assistance you can offer.
Did you check to see if you had the audio video cables on the dvd player plugged in the right place also you might want to get a s-video cable it is much easier that way not toooo much problem to hook it up you plug it in to your tv and the other part of the cable plugs into your dvd player where it says s-video

My JWIN JD-VD136 says wrong disc, check region code. Player says region 1 and DVD movie says region 1 also. If the cables were hooked up wrong, my tv wouldn't see anything. So it's not the cables. The TV does see the player but it says WRONG DISC. What's with that...JWIN???
i have a sungale dvd player. when i insert a disc it loads and then says wrond disc. please help.
