If you want to load using Internet explorer, we can try certain tricks...

Installing the Move Media Player - First since most likely you already have the Move Media player installed, you are going to need to uninstall it by going to Add/Remove Programs and uninstalling it. Once you have it removed, go back to abc.com and go to the full episode player. If you uninstalled it properly you should once again see the EULA for the online player, Accept the agreement (or don’t if you don’t accept it), on the next page you will see a “Begin Install” button, click it (make sure you don’t close out the window with the “Begin install” button). Once you are prompted to Open/Save/Cancel the file choose the Save option, for ease of access save it to your desktop. Now, right click the file and select properties (it will be MoveMediaPlayer something or whatever you named it), once the dialog is open, click on the “Unblock” button towards the bottom, then “OK”. Now double click the icon to install, once completed the webpage will detect that it has been installed and you should see a small clip playing if successful

if the problem still persists, then

Make sure, you have Flash player installed. If already installed, uninstall and reinstall.

Do rate my solution as Fixya as a way of appreciating me.

    Thanks.

Is it showing any error message? Try using any other internet browser like Firefox or Google Crome and tell me the result.

what error message did you receive on the site?

  • Anonymous Mar 15, 2009

did you experience it only on the one episode or all of the link in that site?

  • Anonymous Mar 15, 2009

you must also enable your javascript on your browser to watch full on that site

SOURCE: ABC full episode player freezes at 30%

If too many people watch an episode then the ABC executives have to pay the writers too much money. So, only so many people can watch until the quote is reached.

ABC CANNOT PLAY FULL EPISODES ANYMORE

You may still have an infection from the sound of it. I would take it to your local PC shop they will do it right, seasoned pros, and usually cheaper than Geek Squad or FireDog or any of those big store repair centers. Let them clean it because I would have to type out a 15 page term paper to step you through cleaning up an infection.

If it is clean then you have corrupted OS files and they need to be replaced. Run the following command "SFC.EXE /SCANNOW" without the quotes to run a System fil checker on Windows XP, Vista or Win7 from a command prompt with admin rights (In Vista, Win 7 you have to right click on cmd.exe and choose run as administrator)

ABC Full Episode Player wont play

I found this on another site and it worked for me:

I have really been bothered by having to watch ABC shows online through a tunnel, which as of my most recent discovery was pointless. The problem isn’t with comcast filtering, there is some sort of problem with the ad system they have setup. Some of the ABC affiliates don’t work correctly and cause the shows to never start playing resulting in either a black screen or the waiting cursor circling round and round.
Assumming you have no other problems, open a new browser window or tab and enter the following URL.
http://fep.abc.go.com/fep/player?src=abccomjs&aff=kjif
That’s it, you should now be able to watch all the ABC.com online shows. The only difference is the &aff=kjif at the end. Enjoy.

ABC Full Episode Player wont play

As I posted earlier, the problem isn't with any of our hardware or software. Here is some further detail than I posted earlier. Both ABC and FOX use a plugin developed by a company called Move Networks. You can go directly to their site and test the plugin, you can also test by going to Fox and viewing their videos. This tells you the problem isn't on your end, ABC has broken something on their site. This affects both macs and pcs, each of the browsers, again because it isn't related to us, it's their end that is broken. Hopefully this will save you all from wasting time trying to fix what isn't broken on your side.
