Question about Karcher K2.26 Electric Power Washer
As above motor pulses every 4-5 seconds when power is on but hose gun is not in use.
Hi, I had the same problem, Replaced the O rings and the rubber seals and cups inside the pressure washer and eventually the hose itself burst. Turns out the hose was leaking, internally between the inner sheath and the outside plastic cover, for quite some time and this caused the pulse. New hose and pressure cleaner is as good as new.

This is a common problem, caused by a slow leak somewhere in the high-pressure side of your machine. Unfortunately there are several possible root causes, most of which are not user-repairable (unless you are particularly mechanically-minded).
The simplest possible causes are external leaks, either in the trigger mechanism (is the spray nozzle dripping, even very slightly, with power on but gun not in use?) or where the high pressure hose connects to the machine (is the O-ring in good condition and well greased?).
If all seems well in these two places, then there's an internal pressure loss (which, again, can have several causes) that probably needs professional attention.
If this doesn't help, or you need more information, please post here again and I'll do my best for you.
