Do you mean the IQ America wireless doorbell? If the product is the WD 1140 - A doorbell, then the push-button transmitter uses a CR2032 Lithium battery. You will need to unhook the push-button unit from the base and then pry the front cover up to access the battery compartment. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver.

I hope this helps.

I have Sherwood RA-1140 AM/FM Receiver Surround Sound, and the surround doesn't work. Can it be a fuse please?

Question edited for full make model (what it is).

If the whole unit isn't working, yes, I could be a fuse. If only the surround sound isn't working, it is a wiring issue or a button issue, or an internal component failure.

My vetch phone won’t connect to my handset. It worked for the first 5 times. But always have the mind to reset for a few hours. After that, it always says it “Failed” Any answers/suggestions? It’s a...

Here's some suggestions from the Vtech site:

If the battery(s) has been in service for more than one year....
As a rechargeable battery gets older, its ability to hold a charge decreases. If your battery has been in service for more than twelve months, it may be a good idea to replace it.

If you are replacing the battery and you need assistance, visit our Battery Finder link. If a battery for your model is unavailable, you can search the Internet using the key words cordless phone batteries for an on-line supplier. If you prefer to purchase locally, you can look for a replacement battery at your area consumer electronics retailers. It is recommended that you take your present battery with you to insure your replacement is the correct size and has the correct plug (where applicable) and specifications (for example - 3.6v 400mAh Ni-Cd). Caution when replacing batteries
If your model takes individual cells, do not use non-rechargeable batteries. Use only the recommended rechargeable batteries as prescribed in your User's Manual.

If the battery(s) has been in service for less than one year....
If the handset shows any sign of life (any lights; characters on the display screen; sounds when keys are pressed), your handset is not dead, making it unlikely that a new battery will fix the problem. Consider the following:

Is the base unit getting power?
If your base unit is not getting power, your handset is not charging. Tip: Do not plug your Base Power Adaptor into an electrical outlet controlled by a switch (for example, a light switch on the wall or a power strip with an On/Off switch).

If your battery pack is the plug-in type, is it securely plugged into the handset?
Disconnect, and then reconnect the battery plug to ensure a good connection. In addition, make sure the battery cover is on securely.

Do you see any charge indicators on the base or handset?
Depending on your model, the handset and/or base will have indicators to let you know when the battery is charging. Check your User's Manual for details.

Remember, if the handset shows any sign of life (any lights; characters on the display screen; sounds when keys are pressed), then is not dead, making it unlikely that a new battery will fix the problem. Try the following reset procedure:

Reset your Phone
If your telephone is not operating normally, disconnect the battery(s) from the handset and disconnect power from the base. After a few minutes, connect power to the base, install the battery(s) and cradle the handset in the base to allow it to establish a link. You can now try using your phone again.

Indoor plug in device works fine but doorbell isn't despite changing batteries.

Salutations Helen Wahlen,

If you DO NOT have a RESET procedure in the MANUAL... Remove ALL power from both units... (battery from the base ...if equipped).

Re-Plug the base unit close to where the button is mounted
and restore all batteries & power and start the INSTALL instructions from the beginning.

Failing that.. DISCLOSE what in the world we are discussing (make, model... year, etc) and we can give it more appropriate attention... (resulting in better advice),

Happy hunting!

I have no picture and sound.what can i do to fix it?

based on the model number listed here the first thing is to examine the lamp that model uses to see if shattered or bad. Set should have one or more LED lights on front that blink etc if set does not work.

Put new batterys on 2002 f250 diesel now my power door locks dont work and my open door light on dash stays on

as for your door locks, your key fob may have been misprogrammed when you removed the battery. refer to owners manual to reset your locking options on your key fobs. as fot the door open light, try spraying a silicone based product into the inside door lock mechanisms. silicone spray is much better than wd 40.
