Put cd in, says it’s reading disc, after10 seconds it says Not Playable, then ejects disc

hi Nancy.
this could be dust on the lens that reads the disc.
Use a disk-based lens cleaner to remove ground in dust or dirt from the CD player's lens. These lens cleaners look like a regular CDs, but have specially-made bushes on the reverse side that gently remove excess dirt from the CD-reading lens. Simply put the CD in your player, and press the "Play" button to clean the lens. Do not run the cleaner more than once, as excess brushing can cause scratches on the lens.
Polish the lens. Use a glass or eyeglass cleaning solution and a lint-free cloth to gently polish the reading lens. Clean it by using a low amount of pressure and softly polishing the lens and its surrounding area using soft, circular motions. Do this for about a minute or two and then allow the player to sit for a few minutes before trying to play a CD.

CD player wont work. Any suggestions

Instructions
  1. 1 Remove excess dust from the CD player. Dust is the number one enemy of electronics, and it can corrode even the most resilient device. Make sure to dust in between buttons, knobs, power cord(s) and audio-out ports. Note: use a dry duster, as moisture will harm your CD player further.

My cd part of aiwacd3 wont play any longer. i looked through the top window and it appears that the disk does not fit centrally under the playing head sometim and then the head spins a few revolutions,...

hi there.
Although CDs are still the preferred method of audio distribution, CD players are quickly being phased out in lieu of MP3 players. If your old CD player stops working, it might be a little panic-inducing, but fear not. If the CD player turns on but does not play CDs, then the problem is not with the power cord or the circuity (which are generally more expensive to repair rather than fix) but with the lens. There are several troubleshooting steps that you can take to fix a CD player when it won't play.
Step 1 Remove excess dust from the CD player. Dust is the number one enemy of electronics, and it can corrode even the most resilient device. Make sure to dust in between buttons, knobs, power cord(s) and audio-out ports. Note: use a dry duster, as moisture will harm your CD player further.

How can you remove scratches from eyeglass lens?

I'm afraid not. the light modern glasses, have a coating, trying to remove a scratch will remove the coating, and change the correct focus on that part of the lens. If the scratch is in the visible part, do you see a dull part, I'm afraid you have to buy a new glass. If it is not visible for you, try to live with it, till you need a new pair.

How do you remove the cover on the head light assembly ? not the bulb. the glass globe in one of the lights is foggy and you can not see the light.

The cover/lens is not designed to come off. You can try putting the entire light assembly in an oven on low heat for a few minutes, that may soften the adhesive enough to allow the lens to be pried off. There are kits available from auto parts stores to restore the lens.

I have eyeglasses with the anti glare on them.. they are only 2 months old and are already scratched..i only use lens cloth to clean.. how can i fix scratches

Hello dear

the scratches on your glasses can be removed by using nail polish remover or thinner.
Put small amount of thinner on tissue paper and clean your glasses. Scratches will remove.

How can i fix a stuck lens on a Nikon COOLPIX L11?

It worked. I just gently nudgged the extended(stuck) lens to one side by hand. (the side which had the gap.) There was a click sound and the lense housing fell back in place. Sweitched off and switched on again and the lense started working fine. thanks.

Images blurry after sensor cleaning

If you were careful while cleaning, I'd guess the cleaning solution just left a haze on the sensor then, and you might want to try again. Maybe use less solution this time. Hard to say without seeing an example.
