The oven door is very hard to open.

The open door is very hard to open and seems like the hinges are not working right. You have to take 2 hands on each side of the handle to open it.

Hi, I have just purchased a pair of hinges for my Lamona HJA3320 oven and they arrived in the "oven door closed" position. However, to fit to the oven they need to be in the "part open" position, and I...

i never worked on your brand but have installed hinges on other oven doors, install the hinges to the door, put the door back together,i have a piece of pipe that's hollow, have one person hold the door down while you use the pipe to position the hinge, just stick the arm of the hinge into the open middle of the pipe and you can easily move the hinge and set the lock on the hinge to the position you want it to be,maybe a car jack handle will work or a plumbing piece of pipe, doesn't have to be long like 2 ft. long this will give you the leverage to open it no problem,if you try to do it by hand use a towel or gloves so you don't tear up your hand.hope this helps it works for me.

Door Hinge

An oven door repair may be needed if the door hinge breaks or is bent out of shape. Oven doors have two door hinges, a left and right. On some ovens the same hinge is used, on other ovens the right hinge and left hinge have different part numbers. The door hinge sometimes is sold with all necessary parts and springs, other times the parts need to be ordered separately. An oven door repair for a door hinge is a relatively easy repair for a do-it-yourselfer.

Outer Door Glass

If the outer door glass is broken, it can be replaced. This oven door repair requires that the oven door be removed from the oven and layed down on a sturdy flat surface. The outer door glass is made of tempered glass. Use eye and hand protection when performing this oven door repair.

Hi the right hand hinge of the door has popped out whilst I was trying to move the oven using the door handle as leverage. The door is now wonky when closed as the hinged has popped out. Help!

All oven door typically lift off the hinges by design. If you open the door to what is referred as the broil position. You know when the door stops about 4 to 6 inches open at the top. Then do the following.

1. Lift the door up completely off the opposite hinge still in place and remove. Set the door aside carefully as if has glass window, you do not want to break.

2. Then set both hinges at the broiler stop position. If one is all the way in to door fully closed position pull it out with your hand or with pliers till it stops @ broiler position. If all the way down as if door was fully open, lift hinge until it stops at broiler position. CAUTION- THE HINGES ARE SPRING LOADED AND CAN SNAP BACK INTO FULLY CLOSED POSITION. You can use a heavy glove or if you have an oven mitten, that can work to protect your fingers. DO NOT GET YOUR FINGERS BETWEEN HINGE AND OVEN OR CAN PINCH FINGERS.

3. Now carefully lift the door over the hinges set at the broiler position. Careful not to bump them when doing so or can snap closed. If does, reset hinge to broiler position and repeat. Works best to hold door at angle that door is when in broiler position. Once you have them started evenly, you should be able to fully slide down back onto both hinges.

4. If one of the hinges no longer has spring tension you have to reattach the spring. You can usually access spring if needed by removing the bottom drawer.

Hi there is no adjustment. to fix it you will need to change both hinges on the door. Some models have a roller which may need changing (on the oven frame where the hinges are located)if the door is creaking when opened or closed. wherever you go for parts you wil need the model and product no from the oven located around the door area.

Dhow do i remove stoves efa600H oven door hinges?

1. Open the oven door and remove the 2 screws at the side of the inner glass window 11cm above the hinges and lift off the door. Place it somewhere safe!
2. Remove the 4 screws that you can see nearest to the left and right edges of the oven with the door removed. These secure the oven to the kitchen unit.
3. Slide the oven forwards about 20cm out of the unit, being careful not to pull on the cable.
4. Each hinge is held in place by 2 screws at the side of the unit now exposed, about 18cm apart. Remove them and slide out the hinges. Reassembly is the reverse of the above.
5. Note that the hinges have no means of adjustment. If not working properly, renew them.

Kleenmaid Stainless Steel oven door will not close properly.

The door hinge is probaly broken or could just be the spring. Open the door to the 45 degree position (halfway) and pull on the door. It should come off the hinge assembly. Slide out the oven a little to access the screws for the hinge to see what is broken or wore out.

Oven cleaning

1) take oven door off (position door fully open, flip forward the 2 jammer levers on the hinges, raise door 1/2 open until hinge springs are relieved by jammers, gently ease out door)

2) at the bottom of the door there are 3 screws on left and 3 on right. Remove the innermost screw on left and innermost on right.

3) ease open the glass front by pivoting on the top of the door, separating the bottom that you have just released by removing the 2 screws.
