Sharp Aquos LC-46X20E parts replaced but...

The tv was intermittently shutting off and on by itself then one day i get the 2 x Power 3 x OPC blinking lights, which as I believe is indicating that the IC2002 chip on the Main Board isn't detecting the 10v necessary in order to initiate the TV startup procedure, so with that in mind I've changed the Power board and "sub power board" with working ones, my problem now is that the next step requires you to enter service mode in order to do a reset so the new parts can be used but I'm not able to get into service mode, regardless of how many times I repeat the (correct) procedure, does this mean I have to replace the main board too?

Power light comes on along with OCP light. No screen or sound. internal switching noises coming from inside the tv

My sharp aquos wont power on but is flashing green lights, the pwr and the opc are flashing together and then the power flashes twice by itself and then it reapeats,

call a authorized serviceman you cant fix by your self...

This problems very common on Sharp Tv.Do ur tv LED power light turn on solid first.Few mins,than LED,OPC flahes.Power LED,OPC flashes,push power button again,do this at leat 5 or 6 times somtimes the backlight will come back on and work.The power LED,OPC light flashes,turn off/on more than 5 or 6 times don't work.Ur Tuner signal board is dead,must replaced.

You either have broken power board or main board. Power board - blinking 2 per second, main board 3 times per second. In an case it has to be fixed by a technician.

Tv shutting off

How many times per second does the POWER led blink? (dont worry about the OPC).

1x per second (constant, steady blink) = bad inverter/lamps
2x per second = bad power supply
3x per second = bad main board

You can buy the parts online and fix if yourself!!

No picture, but power is on...

How many times does the POWER led blink per sec? (dont worry about the OPC)

2x = power supply (not as expensive to fix)
3x = Main board (expensive to fix)
