SOURCE: The small part that tells

Your unit has a one year warranty, so hopefully you fall into that time frame and still have your Proof of Purchase. Even if the warranty has expired you can purchase the tank activation switch/trigger directly from NewAir 800-734-0405.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

HOW do i replace the indoor blower fan on a GE PTAC?

Need to pull the unit out of the sleeve to access the motor and fan. the fan is located in the front under the evaporator coil. Difficult to replace but can be done. Just need to nvestigate and figure out how to do it. Search for a parts diagram on the Internet for the model of the unit and it will show you where the motor is located and the parts around it.

My air vents are only working on low and high

If I understand the problem, your blower fan only works on 1 and 4? I had the same problem with my 2012 Escape. As Anonymous indicated, it's the blower resister. (Don't bother with the fan switch). I actually saved some pictures and instructions on how to change it at:
http://www.escape-city.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=30645&p=390762#p390762

Here is a picture of my old resistor and the new part number.

Amcor model PLM14000 E INTAKE BLOWER WHEEL NEEDED

All I could find was a Owners manual for this unit. If you have the pieces take them to a air conditioner contractor and ask them to find you a generic replacement blower cage.
You can expect to pay for their time.
Warning...Some contractors will not provide parts to a customer without charging a service call.

I need an air intake fan for model # PLM 14000E---new unit but the fan broke into pieces

The company manufactured air conditioners, small portable and environmentally friendly air conditioners for over 50 years. The company is no longer operational and no longer produces air conditioning units.
If you have the pieces any good air conditioning service company may be able to get you an "off the shelf" generic replacement fan. They may require you to pay for a service call and for their time looking for a replacement part. good luck.

It depends on what type ac unit it is. I'm sure if you go to the company website they will be able to tell you if the part is available.

My forced air blower runs continually. put a new fan/limit switch. still runs.

Is there a setting on the thermostat that says "Fan" and "AUTO" ? If so switch the setting to Auto. There may depending on what model unit you have (please tell us) a fan relay that could be sticking. Some models have a replaceable relay while others have it incorporated in the circuit board and has to be replaced as a unit. Some units turn on the room air blower to indicate that there is an error code stored in the circuit board. Again without much info to go on, cannot offer much help. Re-post with make and model number and I bet we can get to the issue very quick.

No cool air coming out of home air conditioner

Unless your compressor is burnt up, you probably don't need a new unit. If it's a 1998 it's not that old and you can get parts, the only thing is it's probably R-22 refrigerant and they must fix the leak in the unit if that's the problem before adding refrigerant and the refrigerant is expensive.. All they have in a heating and cooling system, that needs replaced, are a few parts. Outdoor unit has a fan motor, compressor, capacitors fan and compressor and a contactor. Furnace has a blower motor, capacitor, gas valve, fan and limit or furnace control board, which they still make replacement parts for.
My advice would be to call some more HVAC companies, till you find one, that is willing to fix your unit and not replace it..

2004 Mercury Grand Marquis with auto air condition. Blower does not come on AC / Heat still works but no air. I have replaced the blower motor, relay and fan control module but with no luck. Am I missing...

check for fuses. If some other defective stuff that you replaced broke the fuse then you may need to repower the system by replacing the fuse or a relay.

As for the air, do you mean no blower for both heat function and A/C function? An Owners Manual would show location for fuse and relay for blower. A web-search with term like "2004 Mercury Grand Marquis fuse panel or
blower relay location" could help.

Last, do not know if blower resistor relay was known good quality. This part is tempermental. Sometimes takes tap from broom or snowbrush handle to wake it up. Sad part is that after warranty there is little benefit from a used to new part. Should have been a National recall on this part.
