Has it always done this or did this just start happening? If this is the first time you are useing it try starting wii fit before trying to turn it on then you may have to sync it using the little sync button on the board and on the wii system,I hope this helps you, please leave me feedback as I am new to this site and am trying to build rep.

My Wii Balance Board will not power on even after inserting new batteries. The light does not even blink.

you must have the batteries in wrong or they are not charged. Another thing is maybe try putting in a compatible game pretty sure it will sync with out one in but if im wrong its worth a shot.

If this dont help your board probably is toast.

or try please call 1-800-255-3700 for assistance.

I tried to play balance games on wii fit but when it said turn on the balance board it turned on for 2 seconds and turned right back off how do we fix this and we just put new batteries in it?

your board may well need to be synched to the wii again, try that. if the battery pack still rfuses to work, try some AA batteries first, then resynch it. If it still refuses to work suspect your battery pack has discharged and replace it.

I have the rechargeable battery pack on in my wii fit balance board. I the power keeps cutting out and it is saying communication is lost on the balance board, and to push the power button again. This...

If you remove the rechargable battery pack and put regular batteries back in, are you still having the same problem? If so, I would recommend returning the rechargable unit and replacing it.

For what it is worth, I've been using my Wii Fit board for nearly a month on 4 alkaline batteries and have not had any problems.

I recommend rechargeable NiMH batteries with a 15-minute quick charger. Always have four more batteries than you need in your machine, ie: if you have a Wii Fit, a Nyko Wireless Sensor Bar, and two Wiimotes, then you should have 16 batteries total (4 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 4 spare).

Good luck!

    Try these steps!

  1. Insert a Wii Balance Board compatible game disc in the Wii console.

  2. Use the Wii Remote to select the Disc Channel from the Wii Menu, then select "Start" to begin the game. Press the A Button to bypass the wrist strap screen.

  3. Open the small SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console.
  4. Remove the Battery Cover on the bottom of the Wii Balance Board.
  5. Press and release the SYNC button on the Wii Balance Board. The blue light on the board will start blinking.
  6. Press and release the red SYNC button on the Wii console while the blue light on the board is still blinking.
  7. The blue light will stop blinking and stay on steady once the syncronization is complete.
