Auto attendant says transferring to the receptionest when you press 0. Is there a way to change this message?
Nope. You are stuck with that. If you want you can change the button that they press, to say....9 or something...make that a selector code transfer and it wont say "receptionist" any more.
Let me know I can help change the button press....
We have an Avaya Partner R7 with a messaging system. I need to change the automated voice mail since one of our team members is no long working here. Can anyone tell me how to acess the recording to ajust the information for his extension?

There is about three to four programs that need to be set up in your phone system in order to do this , the program number my be a little different depending on the partner system you have .

The extensions in the voicemail group are not programmed. You need to put the ports that the system sees the voicemail, into #505, group 7.

We have partner mail vs. We route this extension to a customer service line and people get very confused when it says tranferring to the receptionist.
Thanks!
Clarification - ours says Partner Mail VS.
Thanks!!
Please explain how to change the extension...this is very helpful! Thank you.
Depends on which voicemail you have.
When you dial in to check voicemail, it tells you which one you have. "Welcome to ....Partner messaging, partnermail VS partner voice messaging....."
Which?
