If the oil loss started after oil change check to see if your oil filter is not all the way tight. My oil light came on a couple months ago about a month after oil change. I reached under my truck and could turn the oil filter by hand. Just something to check. Make sure the oil filter is tight and drain plug is not wet may leak at drain plug. Those are the cheep fixes.

i have the exact same problem in my 2010 Veracruz. Had it to the dealer 5 times. They say they can't "duplicate" the sound. They say they check the suspension and all is ok. I leave the dealership and the next day I hear the thumping. I also notice that on a snow covered road, the car is very hard to hang on to. Seems like when you go down the road, the rear end wants to kick out to the right. Personally, I think there is something wrong with the drivetrain. Possible an issue with the AWD trying to kick in the right rear wheel. Wheel Speed Sensor?? Who knows?? I'm really frustrated. The dealer is useless.

most new up vehicles no not have a serviceable fuel filter. The fuel filter is part of the fuel pump module. It is serviced when the fuel pump is replaced.

I checked some online parts retailers and do t see a listing for a fuel filter. You could always check with the Hyundai parts department to see if there is a filter available.

Its fitted by screws and held by assembly.Give proper support to lower side and loosen the screws and bumper should easily come off.

You need to figure out the amperage of the usb port in the Veracruz, the dealer should have access to that. If the port isn't putting out more than 500ma the iPhone may fail to charge. I recommend a charger atleast 1amp or higher. You either need to connect using bluetooth to the audio system or a hard wired aux cable to the input of the veracruz.

I would think after the second alternator they would start looking for the real problem.
Unless the extended warranty does not pay for diagnostic time.
You may have to take it to a shop that focuses on electrical systems to find the real issue. Or pay the dealer to troubleshoot it.

Hyundia are the best car in the world. Sorry, but they are getting better. I haven't heard of a harness issue. anyway the coils have the ground in common, but the hot wires are separate. probably got there coil packs from china( junk). And I have seen coil packs break down one after the other on different models. Hopefully the dealer is using a better grade of coils. You might even ask them to go ahead and replace the rest of them, seeing there is an issue there. You just never know.

I have had this problem at least a half-dozen times, and the simplest solution is to pull the 2 fuses labeled 'audio 1' and 'audio 2.' It resets the radio, but it will work for a while after that (until I have to do it again). Had the xm unit replaced 3 times, new antenna installed, replaced the antenna connection wire - it always dies within a month.
