Speaker volume don't work. Maybe less than 10% volume coming from speakers. I have increased the volume in all of my settings, nothing helps. When I set on digital..there is absolutely no sound.
If the problem does not depend from the source, then that sounds like an internal fault on your Bose system.
Leave the
Bose unplugged from power and from computer for one hour, to get rid of
electrostatic charges accumulated inside capacitors.
If that does
not get rid of the problem, then there is an internal fault, either a
short on speaker wiring, or a fault on the internal amp circuit board.

I had this same problem...sound was very faint from the speakers and the light on the control pod was dim. I saw other postings about a faulty transistor on the amp/EQ board. This transistor is a small rectangular surface mount component that is located above the capacitor marked C313. By luck, I had a 2N3904 from a SparkFun kit, and I matched the B, C and E legs of the 2N3904 to the Base, Collector and Emitter pads of the surface mount transistor (this while the unit was powered up - not easy to do with the wiring in that bass box!). All I had to do was touch the correct leads to the board and the light on the control pod came back on full strength. Just to be sure, I connected my computer to the input on the bass box and played a few songs. Success! I did not solder the 2N3904 to the board at all - just touching the leads for that instant seemed to do the trick. It has held for a few days so I screwed everything back together again. We'll see how long this lasts!
