Clarinet origin

It would be easier if the instrument was in hand to figure it out.
Your best bet to ID the instrument is to take it to the best woodwind repair man or the largest woodwind selling music store in your area for an opinion. If you do not know of a repair man, contact your nearest AFM Musician's Union to get a referal. To find them check out this link-

My Mackie HD1531 has a high pitched whistling sound, all other speakers work fine with the same power connection and desk connection. It whistles regardless of whether it has a sound input or not.

Sounds like a problem with the horn amp in that cabinet. This is not a user fixable problem and needs to go to the shop. Here is a link to the Mackie support page where you can find a link to the repair shop list.

M22 no outgoing, incoming clear as a whistle

Make sure the mute button is NOT showing green. Press once to mute and again to unmute. If the button is working correctly, not stuck or dirty. there may be a loose connection in the microphone wire which means it would have to be taken apart to repair.

My Fishman Loudbox 100 bass speaker buzzes- what could it be? Someone suggests it could be a poor ground, and to replace the input wire, etc. Does he mean the guitar input cable? The speaker does not sound...

It is a poor ground but it is not necessarily in your amp.
If it is only buzzing when you have a guitar or other piece of equipment connected try a new lead cable.
If it buzzes all of the time......remove the cover at the rear of the amp and remove control panel.
Inspect the feed line to the input. If it is loose or broken....repair or take to have repaired.
