issue is with the hard disk contact sevice center

Its possible that the drivers don't work by this Win 8 , search by internet

Not sure whether your Notebook is V2000 or V2600 series...

If your Notebook is of V2000 series, you need to install Conexant CX20468-31 AC97 audio Drivers from the link below :

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp28001-28500/sp28481.exe

Better way is to save the file in the Notebook and double click once it is saved to install the drivers.

However, if your Notebook is of V2600 series, it is installed with Intel High Definition Audio (Intel HD Audio) and it is a bit different from the one that is available with V2000.

The Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver need to be installed before installing the audio Drivers.

Find the Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for your Notebook from the link below :

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp33501-34000/sp33566.exe

Once this driver is saved, double click on the file to install it and restart the Notebook once it is installed.

Once the Notebook is restarted, download and install the Audio Drivers for your Notebook from the link below :

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp32501-33000/sp32864.exe

Do restart the Notebook once the drivers are installed.
