You need thin insoles for dress shoes. My favorite is the Pedag Leather Insole. My best friend swears by the Spenco Arch Cushion.

Squeaky noisy sneaker

it's very simple. just take out the insole from the sneaker, then put some talcum powder in the sneaker, then put the insole back. this will eliminate the squeaking.

the problem is that sweat gets between the insole and the inside surface. the friction between the two is the cause of the squeaking.

My foot lenght is 26cm so what shoe buy? with 26,5 cm insole or 27cm. Shoe for street not running.

I would recommend 26.5 at least for street wear. Check the fit and see how your foot fits on the insole

I have a pair of brand new ecco shoes. Finally convinced my grade 12 daughter to pair the price and buy well made shoes. They are a purple leather lace up shoes. They make airy sounds with ever step....

I've had this problem with my daughter's shoes, and her foot is very narrow. I cut down some generic-brand Dr. Scholl's-type insoles (available at grocery and drugstores) and that did the trick.
1. Get the appropriate sized insoles, and lay the right show on the right insole, and the left shoe on the left insole. Trace them with a pen.
2. Cut out the insole, cutting slightly inside the lines-- the inside of the shoe is smaller than the outside.
3. Work the insoles inside the shoe. Use your fingers to feel around the edges to see where you need to trim them to fit.
4. If it's too long, don't trim all the length off the toe, or all the length off the heel... you'll mess up where the arch curves.
Good luck! I hope it works for you.

Install spd on this shoe, does the insole have to ripped out?

Does the shoe have the mounting plate already inside the holes? If it does screw the the cleat in as usual. If it doesnt, remove the insole to install it.
