Go to control panel, uninstall programs the toolbar must be in thet list. If the program it's not there it might be a virus, run a virus scan.

sounds like you have been infected! run a anti virus /malware/trojan scan ASAP. I would install several types from various free trials and run each one (not all at once). I say install more than one because often times, what one does not pick up, another will. make certain after intalling that you update them before running.
also open your task manager (hit control/alt/delete all at once) and see what is running in the background that you havent seen before and check /close the unfamiliar program
also go into your control panel/install/uninstall programs and see if you inadvertently installed something while online. again, look for an UNFAMILIAR program (and chk the web to make certain it is not something you need!). UNinstall what ever it is.
Always, read very carefully, when installing something new that you are not getting all sorts of toolbars and added junk with the program. often times folks simply ckick "yes" "intall" as they go along and do not look down to see the added junk.
