Using a normal lockring tool.
Consider the following tech bulletin:
https://www.google.com/search?q=xx1+cassette+removal&oq=xx1+cassette+removal&aqs=chrome.0.69i57j69i60.4446j0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fp=9a975e048e4bd6d6&q=xx1+cassette+removal&start=10
The "locking tube" is not fully self extracting, but can be self destructive. Use the screwdriver to disengage the cassette from the driver, after loosening the locking tube.

Memorex16-854

To open and remove a stuck cassette from a Memorex 16-854 camcorder, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Locate the cassette compartment on the camcorder. It is usually located on the side or back of the camcorder and is marked with an icon that looks like a cassette.
  2. Open the cassette compartment by pressing the release button or lever.
  3. If the cassette is stuck, you may need to gently wiggle it or use a small tool, such as a pen or paperclip, to gently pry it out of the compartment.
  4. If the cassette is still stuck after trying these steps, you may need to use a little more force to remove it. Be careful not to damage the camcorder or the cassette.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or if you are having trouble removing the stuck cassette from your camcorder, don't hesitate to ask.

How do I remove the cassettes or cassettes from an Elna 7000? It stopped working after a power surge. I bought a used machine that works, but it doesn't have the 2 cassettes with the extra stitches.

The cassettes have a little tab you pull on which folds flat afterwards.
Disconnect from the power.
Open the cassette cover on the right side with a coin or with a screwdriver. Free the opening to the cassette housing by moving the slide downwards for inserting the upper cassette and upwards for inserting the lower cassette. (to insert, fit the cassette gently and firmly into its housing and fold the tab flat.) You will need to reverse to remove them. I've got a feeling they can get pretty firm when they have been in there for years, most people would add the extra cassettes and never remove them.

This should help. Good luck !

Cassette (Tray 2) paper pickup and feed rollers

To remove the paper pickup and feed rollers

1 Remove the cassette.

2 Locate the two rollers on the bottom of the paper pickup unit (above the cassette). The pickup

roller is the smaller roller, and the feed roller is the larger roller.

3 Pinch the tab on the end of the cassette pickup roller (callout 1), and pull the roller out.

4 Pinch the tab on the end of the cassette feed roller (callout 2), and pull the roller out.

How do you get the gear sprocket off the back tire of a mongoose crossway 450 bicycle

To remove any rear freewheel or cassette you will need to purchase a Park Tool. Park Tool is the best brand when it comes to bike repair. Google Park Tool and you can look through their products. You will need a cassette/freewheel remover. There are dozens of different companies that make hubs and cassettes (gear sprocket). Take a look at yours and see what company made it. You can than find out which tool with properly fit your cassette. These tools are made to fit in a wrench making hand removal easy. Some brands will require a chain whip. The only way you will know which too you need is by find the company name on the cassette/hub. Without this tool removal is virtually impossible. If you need help narrowing down which cassette remover you need you can always let me know the company name and I will let you know the proper cassette tool to purchase.
