I have a Husky TA-2530B portable 8 gallon air compressor. Motor runs great, and it has no problem building pressure. But instead of the motor stopping when it reaches a certain PSI, it starts to release...

Sounds as if your pressure switch is not opening and not breaking the circuit. Check under the cap of when it is blowing down/ releases the air. If the contacts are not breaking the circuit that is the problem. Make sure you do not touch anything in there if its plugged in so you dont get shocked.

I replaced the battery in my Norelco shaver (model 7825XL). When I made the last solder connection, the razor began to run and will not stop. What next?

Check the ends of the batteries nearest the motor. If the batteries are touching the leads to the motor, this will supply constant power to the motor.

If you batteries were seriously corroded, it may have traveled to the switch and ruined it

My plumber says the pump should not run constantly, but should switch on and off. It come on for about 15secs and then off. I want it to run constant, will it create problems?

Assuming you do not build up really excessive pressures and the motor is not straining, running the motor constantly is better than having it cycle periodically. Every time a motor turns on a tremendous amount of juice goes into the motor windings until the motor speeds up and the back emf reduces the current. A constantly running motor will run cooler and last longer.

My bang & olefson cd 50 will not play. hear "spinning" sound when disc inserted.

THE CD50 DOOR MECH IS BELT DRIVEN IF THE BELT IS WORN THE DOOR OPEN/CLOSE SWITCH WHICH IS TRIGGERED BY THE MAIN CAM UNDER THE MECH MAY NOT BE FULLY CLOSED OR THE SWITCH MAY NEED CLEANING,ITS A LEAF SWITCH.THE MOST COMMON REASON FOR THE DISC TO SPIN BUT NOT READING DISC IS DISC MOTOR NOT GETTING UP TO CORRECT SPEED.IT CAN BE REMOVED,DISMANTLED AND LUBRICATED BUT CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO MEASURE THE TURNTABLE HEIGHT,BEST MEASURED FROM THE BASE OF TURNTABLE TO CHASSIS WITH FEELER GAUGE,CAUTION THE MOTOR SHAFT HAS SEVERAL VERY FINE WASHERS INSTALLED DONT LOSE THEM.

How to disconnect the motor on a driver's side mirror

It is the switch in the mirror motor and it seems to be happening to everyone who owns a Sequoia. The fix is expensive so I figured out if I physically hold both mirrors in place while hitting the console switch to fold the mirrors inward that the mirrors would stay in place and the running motor would shut off.

Hello, I have found a Sansui DA-T550 music-system with AM/FM stereo tuner, integrated amplifier, cassette deck and turnable/gramophone (placed separated). It seems like the system is working OK. My...

Hi!

I have the same deck. Did it come with rammophone or are you using your own grammophone?
I have it with original grammophone and I don't need a remote control, I don't even have it. You just turn on your grammophone and it is automatic, just place the needle on record and it should switch and play automatically. That is if you have connected the wires right (two wires for sound, one for automation, all in the same area).

If you have separate grammophone, I am assuming you just need to place two wires into the separate phono channels and it should work. There is just no automatic detection, so you have to swithc to mono manually: There is a button on the right, beside Volume control "tape to CD" or something.

To play the tape, just simply push the play button on the bottom, should work, or you could try tape to cd button off and see if it detects automatically when tape is inserted.

Currently I have it taken apart and there is tape detection system apparent. Its quite automated reciever, which sucks, because all kinds of problems appear and it is difficult to fix.

On my Sansui, the tape player starts winding slowly when pressed play button. And the tape motor seems to be on always, even when the tape is not used, and the motor is really loud. --Need to find a solution to this problem. And I hate it switch to radio/FM every time the record stops. Plus the original grammophone doesn't work correctly, it is supposed to take off the needle when record reaches an end, but it just pushes the neelde to the holder... over the record..... "screeeeech".
