OK here is what I found at Hitachipowertools.com on your sander. If I am correct it should be a quarter sheet starting with the legs (if you need them) part number 322-756 qty 2, tapping screw 311-945 qty 2, base 322-759 qty 1 and screw 949--216 they show qty in pack of 10 so I would only order 1. Hope this helps and if you have trouble finding them let me know your location and I will try to find someone for you. Good luck

I havent been able to find anything local for you, by Suffolk I take it you mean England, I will call a Hitachi rep and see if he can help me.

  • Anonymous Mar 27, 2009

No luck with rep but you might try this number 1-800-546-1666 it is a dealer locator number. Also you might look in your phone book under power tools and try that way. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I need to get my Uniden mdh125 radio antenna fixed.

To be honest with the current cost of the radio it would be cheaper to buy a replacement or go to Uniden's web site and check a factory outlet store like the one here Uniden 2 Way Radios Two Way Walkie Talkie Radios Marine Radios CB Radios... and purchase one rather than pay to have it fixed.

Replacement drain plug

feelfree kayak drain plug-threaded from Austin kayak, at about $4, is an exact fit for the eagle talon 12. Threads match so just screw it in. It comes with the female base plate but unless your screws are cross threaded, you won't need that part.

New gasket installed but jar still leaks...Does gasket go between jar and cutter or between cutter and screw base?

The gasket goes between the plate to which the cutter is mounted and the base of the jar. i.e., atop the cutter and contacting the base of the jar.

How do you secure a rear number plate

There is usually a small threaded metal clip behind the numberplate. This gives the screw something to thread into as the bodywork of the car isnt enough. If this is missing you could try drilling a new hole (smalled than the screw) in the area behind the plate to fix it to or a less permanent solution would be double sided tape.

I have a 37 inch olevia hd tv..It was mounted on the wall but now we want to put it back on the base and cannot find the screws to reattach the base to the tv. Can you tell me the size of the screws?

This is a difficult one as you have about 50sizes possible for this one. Try calling olevia and giving them the model # they might have that info but its pretty technical and more then likely you'll need to go to a Home depot and just pick up several fine threaded screws (about $.05-$.10each) and try em all to see which one fits. Its a pain but may be the only way. Make sure you don't get them too long as this will damage the threads or not tighten the mount. Try about 1" to 1-1/2" screws. depending on how thick the base plate is. you want about 3/4" of the screw inside the tv depending on how deep the threads (can stick a toothpick inside it to gauge how deep) so ad 3/4" to the thickness of the base plate.

I cannot remove the plate to pute the other plate on

Here's a copy of the manual instructions...
Detail Sanding
Your tool is equipped with a teardrop base which allows you to use it on large flat surfaces
and tight spots or corners.
The pad tips may wear unevenly, depending on use. The pads are designed to allow you to
interchange and /or rotate the diamond tip.
Fitting Sanding Sheets ( Fig. 2)
• Detach the two diamond-shaped tips from the sanding sheet.

If this doesn't provide enough information, take a look at the pictures in the manual at the following link: http://www.dewaltservicenet.com/documents/English/Instruction%20Manual/589307-02,MS550GBMS550GH.pdf

If you still have difficulty getting the base off, write back and let me know specifically what the trouble is and I'll try to help you with it.
• Hold the tool with the sanding base facing upwards.
• Place the sanding sheet onto the sanding base.
The diamond-shaped tip can be reversed and replaced when worn.
• When the front part of the tip is worn, detach it from the sheet, reverse it and press it onto
the sanding base again.
• When the whole tip is worn, remove it from the sanding base and fit a new tip.
Tip of the Sanding Base ( Fig. 3)
When the sanding base tip is worn, it can be reversed or replaced.
• Remove the screw.
• Reverse or replace the worn part.
• Fit and tighten the screw.
Finger Attachment ( Fig. 4)
The finger attachment is used for fine detail sanding.
• Remove the screw.
• Remove the diamond-shaped tip holder from the sanding base.
• Fit the finger attachment onto the sanding base.
• Fit and tighten the screw.
Contour Holder Attachment (Fig. 5)
• The contour sanding pieces are for sanding curved surfaces and grooves.
• Remove the screw.
• Remove the diamond-shaped tip holder from the
sanding base.
• Fit the contour holder onto the sanding base.
• Fit and tighten the screw.
Fitting and Removing a Contour Piece (Fig. 6 & 7)
• Choose the contour sanding piece profile most suitable for your application.
• Place one end of the contour sanding piece into the recess at
the front end of the profile holder.
• Push the other end of the contour sanding piece until it clicks
into place.
To remove the contour sanding piece, push it forward then pull the rear end out of
the profile holder (fig. 7).
Fitting a Sanding Sheet Onto a Contour Sanding Piece (Fig. 8)
• Align the sanding sheet with the contour sanding piece.
• Press the sanding sheet onto the contour sanding piece, making
sure that the sanding sheet follows the shape of the profile.

Missing a screw!

Hi Jonathan.
You can get the part you need (QB-4W) off the web. The part doesn't have a wheel, it's called a quick release plate. It's going to cost about 12. usd. Here is just one site you can find it.
