They work by inhibiting the so-called gastric acid pump that is required for the cells of the stomach to release acid.

Basic Swimming Pool Care

Basic Pool Care Tips

Test chlorine and pH at least 3 times per week. Have a comprehensive water test every 6-8 weeks at your local pool store. There is generally no charge for this test.

Operate pool equipment a minimum of 6-8 hours per day during winter months and for 10-12 hours per day during the summer for greatest overall benefit.

Brush the pool walls and floor a minimum of once a week.

To prevent damage to pool equipment make sure the water level never drops below the opening of the skimmer.

Lubricate backwash valve "O" rings on sand and DE filter four times a year. Lubricate pump lid "O" ring periodically with Lube specifically designed for use with swimming pool equipment.

Test pH and add muriatic acid as indicated to maintain pH between 7.4 - 7.8. Never add more than 1 pint of acid at a time and wait at least 1 hour between treatments. Always add muriatic acid by dispersing into pool water opposite the skimmer and disperse as far away from the wall of the pool as you can safely reach. Use care not to drip acid or any chemicals on deck as it will cause deck etching and staining. Do not pour acid over steps, benches, or pool light. Make sure water is circulating.

Clean waterline tile with cleaner a minimum of once a month during peak season.

One month after initial pool start-up, add stain and scale inhibitor on a regular basis.

Always follow manufacturers instructions on product labels.

NEVER ADD WATER TO CHEMICALS - Add chemicals to water.

Always wait one (1) hour between adding different chemicals unless otherwise directed.

Filters:

Sand Filters: Backwash once per week

DE Filters: Backwash once filter pressure increases 8-10 psi above your "clean pressure" noted at start-up.

Cartridge Filters: Need to be taken apart and elements need to be cleaned once filter pressure increases 8-10 psi above your "clean pressure." This cleaning should be done at least a minimum of twice a year.

Gastric and stomach ulcers treatment

It has been shown that stomach ulcers are usually caused by a bacterium, and are quite curable. Gastric ulcers can be quite different and are often mislabelled, so see a doctor to find out exactly what kind is involved, and the proper treatment.

Where do I start. the red wire at the fuel pump of my microbus does not have power nor does it show any sing of life. the pump is in good shape and works just that it does not get power to work.

Hi Jered, There is an inhibitor switch in the circuit which allows power during cranking and once engine has started. On early models the inhibitor is in the mass air sensor and on later vehicles it's computer controlled. Have someone crank the engine while you check electrical output with a test light or meter. Gerd medication and treatment

To be honest, the best person to ask would be your GP/doctor. But it's possible your GERD could be causing damage to your throat/esophagus. (this isn't good for your teeth/throat at all).
Antacids, such as Maalox, Mylanta, Gelusil, Rolaids and Tums, may provide quick relief, for short term problems. It's non-prescription, quite easy to purchase from the pharmacy.
to reduce stomach acid production: (these are H-2-receptor blockers-H2 Blockers reduce acid production by blocking signals that tell the stomach to make acid) these medications include cimetidine (Tagamet HB), famotidine (Pepcid AC), nizatidine (Axid AR) or ranitidine (Zantac 25, Zantac 75, Zantac 150). H-2-receptor blockers don't act as quickly as antacids, but they provide longer relief.
Proton pump inhibitors block acid production and allow time for damaged esophageal/throat tissue to heal. Over-the-counter proton pump inhibitors include lansoprazole (Prevacid 24 HR) and omeprazole (Prilosec OTC).
However, if you want a proper diagnosis, it's always best to see your doctor. :)

How carboxylic acid different from mineral acid from ionization point of view

 • A mineral acid is defined as a water-soluble acid derived from inorganic minerals by chemical reaction as opposed to organic acids (e.g. acetic acid, formic acid).
 • Specifically: When you put sulfuric acid (H2SO4) into water, all of the molecules of acid will dissociate into two protons (H+) and sulfate anions (SO4 -2). There will be no intact molecules of H2SO4 in solution. When you put acetic acid (CH3COOH) into water, only some of the molecules dissociate into proton (H+) and acetate anions (CH3COO-). Some of the acetic acid molecules remain intact in solution.
 1. - Mineral acids are inorganic derivatives while carboxylic acid is a organic compound.
 2. - Mineral acids dissociate completely into ions while carboxylic acid dissociate partially.
 3. - Mineral acids show high conductivity while carboxylic acid shows low conductivity.
 4. - Mineral acids shows negligible in ionization on increasing the temperature while ionization of carboxylic acid increases with the increase of temperature.

Turns its self off while driving

Usually the problem is due to corrosion on the battery cables at the battery. You must check under the red and black stud bolt covers. It is not always visible from the outside. Carefully pry the bolts out and clean inside with a small brass wire brush. Use a corrosion inhibitor when reassembling. REMEMBER: Always wear saftey glasses, acid resistant long sleeves and gloves to protect yourself from the corrosion. It is acid.
