I just recently put together a new build. i got the motherboard in and all the wireing is hooked up. when i turn the switch on on the back of the power supply, a light comes on on the motherboard, but when i push the power button on the front of my case, it does nothing. Shouldnt the fan on the power supply at least come o when i turn the wswitch on on he back ogf my power supply. this is my first build and im confused. Any help would be appriciated

Kindly check the connection from the front power button to the motherboard. The front power button wire may not be plugged into the correct jumper.
if that wire is hooked correctly, remove the memory modules from the system and all other wires from the board , except the power supply connectors to the board and then power it on , check the status of the light on the power button.

the motherboard is an intel dp35dp. the instructions say to plug the front power button wire to any atx wire from the power supply. By the way whats the memory modual, is that the cpu or the ram
