remove the distributor and replace sending unit located behind it---has a plug in and you need an 24 metric wrench to replace it-----this pressure unit if bad will cause your fuel pump to shut down to save the motor if run low on oil as my wife did----if car starts when fuel in poured into carb then this is your problem

Oil sending unit is under intake manifold, just behind the oil filter on the passenger side (difficult to see-use flashlight). Best option to change : Get everything to do an oil change, removal of the filter makes easier access..

Testimonial: "This sending unit was found on the top of motor behind the distributor -----must remove the cap and rotor and distributor to replace it---it takes a 24 metric metric wrench to remove-----this unit also controls the fuel pump on the car so before you change a fuel pump at $300 try this first "

My roller brush on my d33 stops when presure or after i put the guard back on

If the belts in the clutch have lost elasticity the belt can slip on the motor shaft rather than turning the brush roll.

2000 chevy blazer 4wd stumble stall on start and idle

Its not The mechanics fault all the time, you may fix something then something else goes wrong thats mechanics 101. I've had this problem before I replaced my ignition coil and my fuel pump, fixed it right up in my 96 f150. Give it a try its a whole lot cheaper than most options.

I have the brother Ls-2000 sewing machine i threaded the top as well as the bobbin but when i try to sew the thread gets stuck and it bunches up and tangles in the bobbin. also the little bit that did sew...

adjust your tension. You probably did not wind your bobbin properly as well.Make sure you oil your machine every month or so and make sure your bobbin is seated properly before you sew.
Go slower with the pressure foot speed and use the right needle.ALWAYS test on scrap of your sewing material first!!!

I have this machine for like 2 years and can do 2-5oz cowhide and buffalo leather on it (no joke, and it works FLAWLESSLY) inside it has full steel construction, just needs regular oiling compared to pro machines and easily made a few grand $$$ with it while my pro machine is getting repaired (I don't even bother with my pro machine anymore) But you MUST oil it every month and use the RIGHT needle and adjust your tension properly
Also pull out the thread a good 6 inches from the needle and bobbin before dropping the pressure foot and sewing.
Best $70 bucks (WITH TAX) I spent hell, the leather I use costs more than the machine!

Do you have manuals for a Bissell carpet machine model 1640-6? This machine is about 25 years old. I forgot how to set up soap dispenser

BISSELL User's Guides can be downloaded at www.bissell.com
On the front page under Customer Service click on User's Guides and enter the model number of your unit.
User Guide will be displayed as a PDF file.
Model 1631 is a faucet hook up unit similar to the 1640-6. 1631 User's Guide is on the BISSELL website and should be a similar set up to the 1640-6.

THE VACUUM CLEANER WORKS FOR 6-7 MINS THEN CUTS OUT, THEN AFTER A WHILE STARTS AGAIN FOR A FURTHER 6-7 MINS THEN KEEPS REPEATING THIS PROBLEM

What you describe is typical of a machine that's overheating. This is almost always caused by a blockage. Check the machine thoroughly for any blockages, including any filters, and my bet is that you will find something that shouldn't be there that needs removing (or possibly replacing). I hope this helps.  Good luck!

Vacuum Repair

Take the screws out of the bottom plate. Take the 2 screws out of the drive motor- opposite end of where the belt goes. Loosen the 2 screws where the belt goes, put the belt on and replace the screws. Make sure to thoroughly clean the brush while you have it apart. Don't oil the bearings. Oil will only make the dirt stick and jam the bearings.
