SOURCE: The handle for the freezer

Hello,
Click this link http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_png/PLDM/M0606060-00001.png this is the diagram for the door handles on your unit. The loose black plastic part is that part number 3 in the diagram that you are trying to describe part 3 would go into the door itself although in order to turn the screw to go into part 3 and the door at the same time you may have to call maytag there is a special tool they use to attach the handle. If you have any further questions message me back Thanks Rick

SOURCE: handle on bottom freezer door

Thanks to Dana; it was a 5-star screwdriver, which I was fortunate to find one in my collection of tools and solve the problem. 30 minutes to figure out it was a 5-star screwdriver and find the tool; 3 minutes to fix the handle!

Sub-Zero 601R door handle is loose

My Sub is a 650S. Not sure your handle assy. is the same or not. But each of the 2 attachment points have a small 3/32" set screw on the bottom of each short piece between the vertical handle and the door. These set screws grab onto posts that are screwed into the door. There can be 3 points where the handle can work loose.
1. The set screw(s) have backed out and not holding tightly onto the door studs. 2. The studs in the door are loose and need to be tightened with a screw driver. 3. After loosening the handle via the set screws, when you look back into the cavity vacated by the studs from the door, (pivot handle clockwise past edge of door) you will see a Philips-head screw that secures the spacer to the handle. If the spacer is loose, tighten it with screw driver. Then mount back into door stud and tighten set screw. Problem Solved. Have a beer!!!

The driver's side outside door handle is loose, toyota celica '95

I assume that the entire handle unit is loose in the body work of the door.
The interior door trim will need to be removed to access the inside of the door to fix the loose handle.

Do not attempt his yourself unless you have some experience in this area.
Take the vehicle to the nearest reputable auto body repair shop and they can easily fix it for you. There could be a breakage on the retaining system on the handle or the retainers may just need tightening.

Typically door handles which have not been subject to damage or abuse will not usually loosen like this. It's possible the door was damaged and the panel repaired and repainted at some stage. If so the door handle may have been removed and refitted in a sloppy manner.

I have a 36 volt recepicating saw. the handle is

There may be an underlying problem inside the handle. Sometimes the little nubs where the screws anchor crack inside the handle and will just turn when you try to tighten or loosen the screw. If you cannot back off the screw from the handle the nub is more than likely broken off from the handle. If this is the case you should order a new handle set from dewalt. You can then remove all the screws and then the little nub with a set of locking pliers. You could try to super glue the small piece back to the handle but it will fail eventually. If you have any questions please post back.

Sounds like the top hinge is loose. If the hinge has a cover, remove it then hold the door in the correct position and tighen the hinge screws.

LOOSE DOOR HANDLE whirlpool frige GC5SHEXNQ00

Pulled the handle up to release it from the clips on the door. The screw in the plastic door handle that attaches the handle to the door clip was striped. I used a small amount of J B Weld epoxy to repair and reattach the screw. Realign the handle with the clips and push handle down to reinstall.
