Zune device videos to collection

TO COPY PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO/FROM YOUR COMPUTER:
1 Install the Zune software on your computer. To download and install this software, go to
www.zune.net/setup on your computer and follow the instructions.
2 Once you've installed and set up Zune software on your computer, make sure the photos and videos you want to import to your phone are in your Zune software Collection.
3 Connect your phone to your computer via USB.
4 Open the Zune software if it doesn't open automatically.
5 From the Zune software on your computer:


• To copy photos and videos or music files from your computer to your phone - Drag the photos and videos in your Zune software Collection to the phone icon at the lower-left of the page. Progress is displayed for you on the computer screen. The photos and videos you copy to your phone will display in your phone's Albums screen, where you can favorite them, share them, upload them,etc.

I'm assuming you have the Zune software installed. You'll need the software in order to interact with the Zune device, it does not work as a "mass-storage device" like some other media players.
The Zune software will find all your music. Open the software and on the top left make sure you're in the "Collection" and then "Music" category. Then click on the right hand side on the "Songs" tab. You'll see all your songs on your computer. Connect the Zune and wait a few seconds and in the bottom left hand corner of the software you'll see your device connected.
Click on one of the songs and then press "CTRL + A" and all of your songs will be selected. Click and hold and then drag one of the songs to the little icon of your Zune in the bottom left and then all of your music will sync to the device.

Try copying the videos to your collection, then playing them from your collection.

1. Start the Zune software.
2. Click Collection, and then click one of the following:
   • Music
   • Videos
   • Pictures
   • Podcasts
   • Channels
3. Right-click the item that you want to remove, and then click Delete.
4. Select the option that you want to use, as follows:
   • Keep file(s) but remove from collection
     The item remains on the computer, but the item is removed from your collection.
   • Delete file(s) and remove from collection
     The Item is deleted from the computer, and the item is removed from your collection.
5. Click OK.

As a last resort or if you are receiving error code C00D2772, erase the device, and then sync your content again. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Start the Zune software on the computer.
2. Connect your Zune device by using the Zune Sync Cable.
3. Click Settings, and then click device.
4. Click SYNC OPTIONS, and then click ERASE ALL CONTENT.
5. When you receive the following message, click Yes: Please Confirm. Are you sure you want to erase the contents of the connected Zune? You receive the "Erase All Content" message. This may take several minutes. Do not move or disconnect the Zune device until the message disappears.

The Zune software lets you add to your collection audio and video in a variety of formats and codecs. Just download media from the Web or rip songs from a CD, and the Zune software automatically adds the downloaded (and ripped) items to your collection and syncs them to your device.
The Zune software will convert many video formats during sync so they can play on your Zune device. This automatic transcoding can take a while.

I'm trying to figure out now why that is if i do find whats wrong ill get back with you

well first of all, I suggest that,, convert first the song or video that you have downloaded from other sites, it's file type maybe such as FLV file,, or flash video file,, convert it to WMV, WMA, or MP3 then after converting it, try to drag it to your collections then right click sync, then,, I think that would be the time that it will be saved unto your Zune Device,, Note:,, Zune only supports file types such as WMV, WMA, MP3, and JPG,, SO be sure to convert the file first to any of those supported files so that it will automatically be saved unto your Zune Device,, if you have more questions,, just email me at,, [email protected]

I had to replace a Zune that was dropped in water. I didn't bother trying to get the Zune program to forget the other Zune. I just attached it and started syncing my stuff. Did you try that? BTW I named the new one the same thing as the old one with no problem.
