1st You download Webcam Driver.
Having problems installing the xtatix
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Trying to dowload driver for xtatix cam & it says that it is not digitally signed?????
Go ahead and install the driver anyway, and disregard the no digitally signed messaged, Microsoft put that there because the manufacture did not pay Microsoft to include the drivers with Windows.

I cannot install because it says I am missing a driver
You need to download the driver from their site:
http://www.xtatix.com/xtatix_advantage/downloads/
Make sure you get the right one, because they have XP, Vista, Linux, etc.

Says not passing windows logo test upon install.. saying no video found
If it's not passing the windows logo test, it just means the drivers are not verified by Microsoft. You can go ahead and install the drivers as long as its a legitimate driver from the manufacturer you will have nothing to worry about. :)

Peeper xca-pp2a cd will not install. It says dta lost curupt.
Here is something you might want to try. Go to the Sonix Technology web site Sonix.com and download a driver to the following web cam: SN9C201 It has a version for Mac and Windows and it works on everything from Windows 98 to Vista. It is a little bit larger download (11.8 MB compared to 7.5 MB from Xtatix) but I believe it is well worth it to get you up and running.
