Hi!

At first, be careful, cause you can tear the wire inside the cover.

So, you need a pliers and a small piece of paper(it will protect the metal aganist scratching).
You need to press the end of the cover(only the pink part, see the picture at the top of this page)by the pliers with paper inside it.

Then you have to twist the side with the wire. There is no thread, so the direction is irrelevant.

Be carful, cause the wire can't follow the twist, so too many twist will tear it.

That's all.

The problem is, i can't hear the other person on the phone unless i use speaker. it's annoying and i hope cleaning it will fix the problem.

1st: dumb question do you still have plastic cover that came with your iPhone. This might sound dumb, but that plastic shipping cover is thick enough to block the audio coming out of the ear speaker. I would bet that's the problem. Another solution is that the screen protector you put on doesn't have an opening for the ear speaker. A less likely problem is that the ear speaker has failed. Good luck

My headphone cord was cut how do I repair?

Hi, it all depends on where the damage was from, either from the top close to where the ear speaker is,or just from the body of the cord..

From the ear speaker area, you might need to do some soldering...

Get a screw driver, remove the forms from the ear speaker, unscrew the screws off, and open...if there is any cut wires, take the soldering iron and re-solder it... That will do..

If it's from just body of the chord area just get a sharp object, peal off the rubber surface covering the wires inside, and joint all cut wires, with color codes, and after doing this, use a tape to cover it up...And your done..

After all this exercise.still no sound, you will need to test if the ear speakers are working well and also you might need to replace your chord with another one...

Hope that helped.

Need earpad replacements for Optimus Pro-100 Wireless headphones

Just flip the headphone pad inside out on the Optimus Pro 100 wireless headphones.
Find the 3 screws on each headphone speaker, you have to push the existing cover back, but you'll find them. Remove the 3 screws. Be careful of the speaker wire that will be attached to the cover plate that has the ear pad on it. Also, look carefully at how the components are assembled inside the headphone, as you might disturb their setting. They are easy to return to their proper place if they move.
Gently remove the ear pad, turn it inside out and you will have a new covered ear pad. GENTLY, re-install ear pad onto speaker plate, be careful not to break the speaker wire that is attached. I found a little flat screwdriver helps to pull the edge of the pad over the plate. The ear pad is actually quite strong and can take some abuse, but don't pull the speaker wires loose.
After you have the cover back on, find the screw holes and put the 3 screws back in. Presto, a little cleanup on any loose pieces of covering from the original side and your done for another couple years or so.

ATT- Xeon cell phone,I can't hear people, but they can hear me

You most likely need a new Ear Speaker for your phone. You can order these online or goto a cell repair shop and have them check it. Also if the phone is under warranty it will be covered. If you replace the ear speaker and it still does not work it would most likely be the sound driver for the ear spkr. Hope this helps a little bit.

I can't hear out of my handset for voice calls. PPlcan hear me fine but it sounds like they are whispering. I was having no problems until tonight. Speaker phone is working fine. What can I do to fix it?

You need to open up your phone and clean both the actual ear speaker and the two small pin holes on the cover with 91% or higher alcohol. If that doesn't solve the problem then need to replace your ear speaker.

Motorola E815 cell phone

This exact issue happened to me: I left my phone off for 2 days (unplugged), turned it back on and the internal speaker started working normally again. The phone worked normally for over a month after this. Yesterday, the earpiece speaker stopped working again after the phone fell out of my pocket. I suspect a loose connection or something similar, but I've had my phone off for the last day and will let you know whether or not it starts working again.
