The gas stove works fine. When I turn the thermostat to heat, I hear a click coming from the thermostat, but that's all. I reset the circuit breaker, rocker switch on the blower, but it didn't help. I checked all the fuses and circuit breakers and they're good. I charged the 12 volt marine battery. It powers everything when I disconnect the power to the RV. Please help! Thank you. Jeff

Blank screen sounds like a fried thermosat. Abrupt outages can affect certain types of thermostats. Make a jumper wire and jump across R and G. See if you get any action from anywhere. If a fan or compressor kicks in you know you have a burned out thermosat...

sounds as if your low voltage transformer might have bit the bullet will need replacing all of the devices you mention are powered by this one low voltage t-stat
SOURCE: Furnace doesn't come on, no matter where thermostat is set
This sounds like the relay switch on the control board may be bad. I just replaced a control board last week on a Carrier unit doing the same thing. The relays are built into the control boards. To fix this you must call a luxaire dealer and they can be found at www.luxaire.com. I will ask though, if you put the tstat into fan on instead of auto, does it come on? If it does, it could be a tstat issue. How you find this out is to remove the thermostat and expose the terminals. Take a small "jumper" wire and touch either one of the r terminals to the w terminal and hold it there. If the unit fires up with no problems, then it's the stat and not the board. Try jumping first and if it still won't come on, you know it's the control board. Good luck to both of you!

First check to see if you have afloat switch inside the air handler ar underneath the air handler. Its purpose is to shut the outside ac off if the drain stops up. Very common. If this is OK take cover off unit and with screw driver push in the contactor. It is located about the middle of the panel. It has main power at the bottom. If unit comes on you cave a control voltage problem. Meaning something is not allowing 24 volts to the contactor. If your out of Refrigerant the low pressure swich will have it off. Call a service tech. Rusty

It may be your thermostat, but try this first to see if time delay relay may be sticking. When it won't shut off, turn propane off, and go outside and unscrew the 2 screws that hold your cover on, and lower the cover down. Look straight ahead, attached to the housing of the fan up near top you'll see a square relay (time delay relay) with 4 male spade connectors, and wires attached to each. It's usually held on with 2 Philips screws. Give it a little rap with the handle of a screwdriver or similar a couple of times, and see if fan stops running. While your there as well, pull the wiring connector off the ignition board, and put back on a couple of times, to clean the connections. Now try it again, and let me know what happens.
