One good and easy way to find out for sure how much RAM your computer can hold is to go to WWW.CRUCIAL.COM and run their SCAN MY COMPUTER feature.
This handy utility will scan your hardware configuration and tell you exactly how much RAM you currently have installed and what type it is.
It will also tell you how many RAM slots are fitted on your motherboard and what the maximum memory capacity is for each slot and the total capacity for that motherboard.
If your computer does have room to add more RAM, it will provide you with specific recommendations as to exactly what type and size of RAM stick to get to maximize the memory capacity and performance of your computer.
According to the specifications, the motherboard supports two PATA hard drives and two SATA hard drives. You can install SATA hard drives to any capacity you want.
The speed of your computer is determined by the memory capacity, the hdd storage capacity (that means that if the hard drive is full of data your computer becomes low - not about the size of your hard drive) and your processor speed.
In your case I recommend:
1) A good cleaning, 2) Be sure that your computer is not virus or spyware infected 3) Get rid of those programs that you are not using. 4) Disable the programs that are running on the background
Sure after that your computer will become faster. Your memory capacity is good enough to your normal duties (above described)
Hi, remove the left side of your case, turn on power and see if you can see a red or green led light on the board, if its not showing then your power supply is faulty.
If the light is on then with the power off check the RAM chips are tight. if that does'nt work Then trace the cables from the front of the case, locate which is the pwr switch and unplug that, turn the poweron and then use a small screw driver and bridge the pins of the pwr switch. If this does not work you have either a dead CPU or a dead motherboard.
