SOURCE: shower spout

There is a threaded stem that passes through the spout and attaches to the white plastic diveter valve. If you are starting from scratch (everything apart), you can put it back together in this order:
1) Place the white plastic diverter inside the spout. the circular side with the black round washer should face the the wall side of the shower (mating up against the threads for the water pipe).
2) The stem can now be inserted from the top and into the notched section of the white plastic diverter valve. The threaded end of the stem shoud be outside of the spout (from the top side).
3) A round black washer fits over the threads. It should sit right where the threads end. Dont push it all the way on to the unthreaded portion of the stem.
4) Screw the threaded knob onto the threads.

Should be ready to install now. Including the spout itself, there are 5 parts and are configured in this order from top to bottom.
1) Female threaded knob (the knob for operating the spout)
2) Threaded stem (threads on top)
3) Round black washer
4) Spout
5) Whit plastic diverter valve.

Mine leaks when I turn on the shower, thus reducing shower pressure. I looks like a poor design to me. The stem is not a tight fit in the spout and this allows the diverter to "wobble". The washer on the diverter valve does not seat tightly and allows water to leak out the tub spout when showering. I would replace the spout.

I just installed a Price Fister shower only mixing valve. 07-807 I have 70 psi coming to the house, i have maybe 30 psi coming out of the shower head. How do I get more pressure?

70 lbs, you must have city water, were lucky to get 30 lbs out here in well country. Most mixers sold now days are restricted, water saver devices, but most are also in the ends of faucets. You might not be able to get more pressure out of it, but if you look at the diagram of the faucet, you might see something that says, water saver, or restricter. If it can come out, take it out. Hope this helps.

Hot watwer leaks from the hot side of the facet

Replace the stem assembly (ceramic cartridge) with Price Pfister service part #910-030. Be sure to turn water on briefly to flush out any debris in the valve body before installing new part. NOTE: this valve does not like old galvanized plumbing.

I have a Price Pfister Model no. 808 DK00 single handle bath tub/shower faucet. I am only getting hot water coming out when the handle is turned on. This problem just started. It was working fine for about...

It's likely that you have some sediment that has accumulated in the cold water valve and has clogged it. The model number you have cited above is only for the trim (rather than for the valves behind it). Assuming that you have a Price Pfister valve, they don't have built in filters, so you're probably going to have to either clean or replace the valve.

Price Pfister Shower--No water to shower

Does the tub spout water flow stop when the shower knob is pulled?

Was the systems pipping flushed before the shower head was installed?

It may be clogged, remove the shower head and then attempt to operate. If it is clogged you will see debris trapped in the screen at its connection point. The shower head can be disassembled - cleaned - reassembled

Is the shower head an adjustable type, that may be in the off position?

Good luck
