How do I add songs to my mp3 player?

You must have Windows Media Player installed in your computer to be able to download songs to your computer...
You can put your CD in the CD player tray, be sure Media player is running and then you can download your music to it...also if you download mp3's from the internet, You will load them in Windows Media Player.
After you have the songs you want to have on your Player is downloaded to Media player then you will the plug the player in to your computer with the data cord supplied with the MP3 player...
Media player will open, select the songs to put on the player ...and download them to your player.

what brand is your mp3 and model

If you open iTunes with the CD in the drive and click File - Add folder to library/Add file to library you should be able to find the CD containing the MP3's from there. This will then add them to your iTunes library and you can put them on your iPod by dragging them to your iPod when it is connected in iTunes.

Just turn off auto sync in your media player options

I uploaded one song from my mac, but when I tried to put a CD on, the mp3 got messed up so I reset the mp3 player, and then couldn't put music on anymore now matter what I do, so I have a blank Insignia :(.

You should be able to hook your mp3 player up to your computer with the USB cable. This will allow you to browser the directory where the songs are and delete or add new songs. Your mp3 player will appear in your computer as a removable disk. The songs that you put on your mp3 player need to be in mp3 or wma format. Put all your music in one folder and let Windows Media player synchronise your music with the player. Any time you want to add songs, put them into the same folder and Windows Media Player will add them to your MP3 player when you next connect.

This is because the player does not recognize tracks that havent been uploaded by Sonic Stage(You might have a CD of this software along with an mp3 player)

Take out the four screws on the back and pop out the battery then put it back on. Make sure you synced the songs properly. Add to the problem how you added your songs and I might be able to help.
