SOURCE: my karcher pressure washer has lost its water power
I have the same problem. With mine I have to remove the tip that I am using then pull the trigger and then replace the tip and pull and pressure should return. I believe that one of my valves is sticking causing me to reprime the pump frequently. I am trying to clean or replace my valves to fix the problem.
I hope this helps.

This may not be a motor problem. It sounds like your pump is not working properly and the motor is just following the pump. First thing to do is check for leaks in the pump, wand hose, gun etc. It may also be a blown water seal inside the pump.

The most typical reason for this is that your supply pressure or volume is not sufficient. Try using a larger diameter hose.

wot like a buzzing noise if so try and turn the fan at the rear of the motor if you can do this it is more than likley the capacitor

Most likely your "O" rings or seals have gotten hard and are leaking. Sorry I don't know your equipment well enough to tell you how to change them but you can most likely find the info at your manufactures web site.
