Says cart is incorrect, don't know how to fix??

  • rrwollan Apr 11, 2009

Mine says that the cartridge is installed improperly. The cartridges ould not move from the print position (right) into the replace cartridge position (left). Unfortunately, someone tried to help & manually pulled the cartridges to the left-most position. There was not an error # with the message.

Do both stalls need to contain a cartridge, in order to print?

Hi

Yes you are right both the stalls should contain cartridge. However, it is not necessary that the cartridges should contain ink. One of the cartridges can be empty.

Please put empty cartridge on the carriage, even if you want to print a BW document.
