How can I download google play to a maylong tablet?

My guess is that it needs charging, or there is an issue with the Android Operating System.

The first thing to do is power it down for 5 minutes and then plug the charging lead into it.

look for a tiny hole on the side.Use a paper clip to reset. If not, try turning unit off then press power and volume DOWN at the same time to restart. use the manu after that. If that desnt work, try same thing with volume UP.

If he wants you to have it I would expect that he will give it to you.

Let it charge for at least 12 hours before turning it on.

Most phones, tablets, MP3 players, camera's, can be connected to an USB connector, have a 5 Volt charger. Don't play around with the cables to connect it to any 5 Volt, because there is a plus and a minus. When you reverse them you will damage the device for sure.

Check for factory reset in back of manual.

Try rsetting the tablet

change or update the rom
