Hi,
The chassis number usually stamped on the right side engine firewall, on the upper portion and the other one is on the right side rear end chassis skeletal.

all GM cars and trucks have an option sticker in the glove box , refer to that sticker , or the one in the door jamb (drivers side).
Or you can call the dealership ( any GM dealership) and give them the last 8 digits in the VIN and they will happily tell you the chassis number

it would NOT be toyota that superimposed another chassis no to the vehicle....think stolen old car,with identity of newer car......a police matter BUT if you report it you may loose it for ever.....

yes there should be but since the screen has been changed you definitely dont expect it to be there so you should rewrite it

american market model doesnt have one ,if it does have one .most obvious place is on the chassis passenger side ,could be front wheel arch ,if not their rear wheel arch ,if you cannot find one then you will have to take it to a ford garage and they will have to stamp one on and issue a certificate which you then present to the vehicle inspection station when its inspected to issue a fiche technica .Vehicles sold in spain had a chassis number but i have imported quite a few american built models and no chassis number is the norm

you have a rubber through wire under the chassis near the shock mount or a bad tail light socket. this is very common on these have fixed alot of them. need to chase the wire harness that runs along the chassis an inspect really good. also if you have trailer wiring give it a good look too.

where is the stamped in chassis number on my merc ml anyone pls

on a lot of car radios after inserting the wrong code several  (3) times they lock you out the only solution is to contact the main dealer who can check it from your chassis number . unfortunately they charge for this service. the other option is a radio specialist who can put a new code in not always possible in all cases.if this is helpful let us know
