Why does my music stop when i close the cover of my samsung galaxy s3 tab?

You have settings set to shut down the unit when the cover closes. You need to go into the settings and find the power saving settings and the startup/shutdown settings. Then disable that setting that shuts down the unit when the lid is closed.

All my saved pictures have been deleted and the screen continually goes blank

Greetings and thanks for the question, there are various reasons why this happens. Without having your computer here to see what is going on is anybody s guess on how to repair it. If I may offer some suggestions. Since I also do not know what operating system you are using I will assume it is Win 7.
I would personally go to control panel and check my power options to make sure I do not have the settings set you close display or sleep mode or anything set to soon to close your machine down. Often times people have these set to go off there are defaulted usually to save battery usage and your lap top from getting to hot and shutting it down. The thermal switch may be activating sooner than normal. What some folks do is purchase one of those underneath fan coolers to keep their lap tops from getting to hot and constantly shutting down.
This can be the case have this checked out at least set the lap top for more time before closing down or turning the monitor off. Let us hope it is not more serious than appears. Like a lamp in the monitor going out. If it is new the lap top I would not worry about that issue because it is intermittent. Which leads me to believe it is a thermal or a shut down issue. Get the cooler fan for your lap top I recommend anyone that reads this post to also do this as well. Clean your lap top blow them out it is critical to do this to keep dust away and keep it clean.
Now there is recovery software which is free to download Click Here to check this out to retrieve lost files. Also important to get those precious memories separate off your computer and on to separate CD or DVD or storage USB stick so that when this type of thing happens you have not lost your precious memories. I hope this helps you. John

Why is my screen blank its white screen , do u have a reason for this, it was working one day but all of a sudden its just went blank. the model of laptop is a samsung NC10

You can try to connect an external monitor to your NC10 there's a VGA socket on the right side. connect up and tap Fn AND F4 TWICE quickly. (first is Sammy display, second is external display, third is both displays - if you feel adventurous) if the other monitor displays correctly, there's definitely a problem with your Sammy display.
1. Remove the battery.
2. Peel off the little rubber pads from the four corners of the face of the lid and unscrew the four screws underneath them.
3. Using a pocket knife or similar object, peel the face off the lid. There are places along the top where some sort of adhesive keeps it together. Elsewhere, there are snaps that pop open as you peel the face off. Do not be alarmed.
4. Unscrew the four screws at the base of the LCD panel, freeing the panel from the hinges. Commence handling the LCD panel. Notice where the cable flattens out and adheres to the back of the panel, this is usually where there is a fracture - Have some fun peeling the first inch or so of it off and sticking it back on, so it is a bit higher and supports the fracture.
4A. This is where you take your new cable and thread it in in place of the broken cable - if the above doesn't cure the problem.
A company in Stockport, Greater Manchester, www.notebookrepair.co.uk carry all Samsung NC10 spares and are very helpful if the above doesn't work and you need to buy a new display cable
5. Re-insert the battery and fire up your computer. Check it's O.K. now. - Once you have confirmed that your problem is solved, find a nice way to lace the wiring into place and screw the LCD panel back on.
6. Continue staring at the computer screen. Turn the brightness up to full blast and have a sandwich. Enjoy the computer. If the problem is still fixed, shut the computer down, remove the battery and screw everything back together.
Bear in mind that, if you are still under warranty and have a few weeks to blow, you might be better off sending the machine to Samsung.

Short battery life

Battery life on laptops is like the mileage estimates on new car windows....it's wishful thinking. You would have to set the power management to shut the screen off after 5 minutes of inactivity, shut the drives off after 6 minutes and send the thing into hibernation after 10 minutes to get better batttery life.

Sounds like a master user password has been set in the BIOS. If that is the case, you need a technician to go into the machine, remove the CMOS battery and reset the BIOS settings to default.
