Acer eprojection management

I turn on my projector, then I connect to it through my wireless set up on my computer and when I go to open internet explorer, it says no connection. It doesn't direct me to the projector to download Acer eProjection management, which is the software I need to run my projector wireless.

The Acer Aspire One is an inexpensive laptop computer that runs the Windows operating system. The computer does come with a built in Wi-Fi receiver, giving you the ability to connect to a wireless Internet network, when available.
However, if you are having trouble connecting to a wireless network, you must troubleshoot the network connection to determine exactly what is causing the problem with the Internet.
Check the wireless router and high-speed modem.
If the two are not powered on, or if the Ethernet cable connected the two is not completely inserted into both connection ports, you are unable to access the Internet on the Acer Aspire One laptop computer.
Activate the wireless Internet connection on the laptop computer.
Right-click the wireless icon on the desktop, then choose "Enable" from the pop-up menu.
Without activating the wireless receiver on the Acer Aspire One, the laptop is unable to detect any wireless network.

Select the appropriate network you wish to connect to.
Your computer may be attempting to connect to a different Internet connection, preventing you from access the network you desire.
Right-click the wireless icon, select "Search for available wireless networks," then choose the network you want to access.

Restart the computer.
The system may have booted and failed to detect the wireless receiver. Restarting the computer corrects this issue.

also
Turn on your computer and locate the Wi-Fi icon.
This could be located on the upper row on a laptop it will have the radiation look (((·)))
Make sure its pressed on.
The internet connection is located in the system tray in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
The icon looks like a series of rectangles that increase in size from left to right.
Right-click the Wi-Fi icon and select "Connect to a network."
You will see a list of available wireless networks.
Wireless Acer laptop can be a massive boon to your productivity when it is working properly and a massive headache when it is not.
When your laptop card begins to exhibit undesirable symptoms, such as signal dropping, you can avoid a hefty repair bill by performing at-home troubleshooting.
The best solution is to merely reinstall the software driver, which refers to the program that the operating system uses to speak the wireless card's language.

Open your operating manual and look up the model name and number for your laptop.
Navigate to the Acer Support web page (see Below) and click on the "Downloads" link.
http://support.acer.com/
Input the model number of your laptop, click on the "Search" button, download the wireless driver file for your laptop model and save the file to your desktop.
Open the "Start" menu, click on "Control Panel" and open "Device Manager."
Open the "Network Adapters" menu, double-click on your wireless card, select the "Drivers" tab, click on the "Update Drivers" button and choose the desktop as the location to search for new drivers.
Click "Next" to reinstall the driver, fixing your wireless woes.

I have an acer aspire one laptop that will not connect to internet thru wireless connection. System shows that wireless connection strength is excellent but internet explorer cannot display webpage. ...

1.- Try to find the wireless card switch (or button). Look the wireless led indicator, must be on.
You should surf if the led is on.

2.- If not works, go to device manager and look to your wireless device and turn the switch on and
off again. Look if the device is accepted without any sign. If the device get any sign then you
have problem with your wireless driver. If no sign. Open My Computer and then open networks
or my network places, and try to access to any other computer you have.

3.- If the device is ok in device manager and the led indicator is on and you can access other
computer thru network places, then open Internet explorer, go to tools, then go to internet
options, then go to connections and there click on Lan settings. In the proxy section uncheck
the box. Restart your Internet Explorer and it must surf now.

Good Luck and remember to rate my answer.

Acer aspire one 8.9 wireless wont work

First make sure the wireless card driver in the computer is installed and the wireless is enabled and working.
To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router’s wireless settings configured and also needs the wireless cards in all the laptops and or computers to be configured with the router’s wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.

To set-up and secure the wireless router from unauthorized access, follow these steps: -
1. Connect the wireless router to your computer with a LAN cable.
2. Start your browser and enter the router's configuration URL IP address.
3. Enter the router setup, login and password
4. Change the admin password
5. Go to the wireless settings and change the default SSID and turn off SSID broadcast.
6. Setup encryption key the strongest is WPA2 (if not then WPA).
7. For further security measures - turn on MAC address filtering and enter the MAC address of the wireless cards on the computer/s you want to connect to this wireless router.
8. Record the settings you have made and keep it in a safe place and Save the settings.
9. Configure the wireless cards on the computer/s with the SSID and encryption settings of the router.
10. Remove the LAN cable between the router and the computer then the computers should be able to connect to the router wirelessly.
To access the Internet you need to connect the DSL or cable modem to the WAN (Internet) port on the wireless router.

Wireless not connecting when 6930 running on battery rather than mains. This is apparently due to low signal strength, or no response from the router, but with the main plugged back in it connects again.

This is due to the power settings of your wireless adapter.
Right-click "My Computer" and choose "Manage". This opens the Computer Management console.
Go to "Device Manager" and find your wireless adapter.
Right-click and choose "Properties".
One of the tabs should have a "Power Management" setting, which says "Allows the computer to turn off this device to save power".
Uncheck this option, if you don't want your computer to turn off your wireless adapter when running low on battery.
