Blue menu screen stays on

It seems it could be an issue with your DMD board or your Video board, while the TV is on, go to the menu, and if the menu is alos blue, the issue definitely will be the DMD board, but if it's not blue, the issue will be the Video board. They're not that expensive, they're running around 180dlls

If so, does it stay on with sound?

If the sound is ok and the picture is blue (even when changing channels, inputs, etc.) the lamp may have gone out.

Can you see the TV menu when you press the menu button on the remote or TV?

If what you mean is that the blue screen won't turn off (after about 5 minutes), so you should go the your tv menu options and select how much time in the blue screen option (under 'picture' or something like that).
