The print driver in your computer is the wrong one. Go to the HP web site to download a newer driver.

Unrecoverable scan error is a hardware problem. Features affected by this error are scan, copy and fax. Recommended action is to contact Lexmark technical support for assistance.

The HP Officejet 4355 can print, scan, copy and fax.

You need to install the printer software to print and scan. Copy and faxing does not required software installation.

Try "Greyscale"  selection.in printer setup.

Download what you need from hp.com

google the error message. Lexmark website is useless and expensive ink cartridges.
If this fails..get an HP or Canon.

Not quite sure what you mean when you say, "will not print froma web page intermittently". Do you mean it sometimes doesn't print a web page at all or that the print out isn't what you want? Also, there is an additional issue if you are using Microsoft Windows Vista (as opposed to another Windows operating system).

I assume that you mean color images are being produced in black and white. If that's the case, there's a document on the HP web site that shows you what to look for and provides solutions:
