metal detectors are ******* batteries especially alkaline type so check the charge in the batteries with a voltmeter
if they are still at correct voltage , take it back for a warranty check or replacement

I have a metal detector similar to a Famous Trails.

This would indicate that your sensitivity switch is set to full high. Try rotating the sensitivity switch to the center. There should be a button just below the meter which, when pressed, causes the needle to center.

With sensitivity set to mid range and the needle centered, the buzzer should not be sounding unless the coil is near some sort of metal.

Make sure all of the other knobs, if any, are also centered.

All smoke detectors, whether they are of the photo-electronic or ionization type, can false alarm due to steam. There are basically two solutions to your problem. Either move the detector further away from these areas (I have found keeping a smoke detector at least 6 feet away from the bathroom door normally works) or if that is not practical, after showering try to evacuate steam by either opening a window or turning on the exhaust fan for several minutes before opening the bathroom door.

You are talking about a motion detector attached to some type of light I presume. Your numbers mean nothing, I'm sorry to day.

Very first consideration, you do have it correctly wired, right? White to white - black to black - green to green and ground. The red goes to the lamp black wire, right??? (Light White goes to neutral (white line))

Two conditions that must exist for this light to come on ... it must be dark and there must be a motion. There should be two adjustments on your detector; one is for sensitivity and the other is time the device should remain on.

Dark ... not just sundown ... are there other lights in the area that may cause your detector to think it is day time?

Sensitivity. On minimum sensitivity, your detector is nearly blind to any but the closest movements. On maximum, it will probably see bats flying by. You must adjust to meet your needs.

Does it have a warranty? I dont know. You would have to check the information that came with your light.

On the fuel pump if its diesal there are to adjustment screw. The first one is looking from the front of the motor is on the left hand side of the pump under the throttle linkage. to get to it you have to remove the side plate just take one bolt out and lossen the other one or the plate will fall down in under the manifold. Once off turn the engine over manually with a 15/16 socket on the crank. Bring the mark on the harmonic balancer and the engine together look inside the pump there should be a allen head screw showing you may need a mirror to see in. If you dont see the screw head turn engine over one complete turn. Know take a 5/16 allen key and turn the screw, only turn it a max 1/4 turn clockwise to much and you egt's will get to high. Now reinstall plate. This setting is for under max torque. 2nd screw is located at the fuel line going from the filter to the pump. On the the pump where the line goes in diconnect the line. Now some pumps have a brass adaptor take this off. Next take the same 5/16 allen key and tune the screw max 1/4 ture clockwise. reinstall adaptor and line.
