The Fuse for the cig. light outlet is located in the fuse panel inside the vehicle in the left (drivers) side kick panel (see picture below). Below in the last/bottom picture is the fuse layout and I have marked the fuse you are looking for. It's a 15 amp fuse. Hope this helps.....

Fuse cigarette lighter

charge?
the cig is very simple, its just a connector and a fuse.
if you have 12vdc on both sides of the CIG fuse. key on
then the CIG socket is bad, or the wire behind it fell off
or the Cig ground wire fell off.
a voltmeter will tell you which is bad, and why.
its just a 2 wire circuit, power and ground
fuses that look good can in fact be bad, (hair line cracks)
so use the OHM meter part of you meter, and check for
0 ohms good
infinity ohms bad, works 100% of time , ohms checks, no guessing!@

All 3 cig lighters stopped working on 1997 infiniti q45

Hi Jal, I would think all 3 lighter are on the same fuse. There must be another fuse box inside the vehicle, possibly in the kick panel area.

Have a short on my infiniti i30t 1996 cigarette lighter ..burns the fuses all the time

Make sure the fuse is the right size. If it is then your best bet is to replace the actual lighter as it's probably the culprit. You could also go one size up in fuses because if there is a short circuit in the lighter it will blow that fuse just as fast. I had the same problem once and it turned out to be the light in the ashtray that had the short. Usually it's the lighter itself.

Lighter stopped working,

The Cigarette lighter is run off of a 20A fuse located in the engine compartment just behind the battery. The fuse map will say P-Out and is in position #14. Hope that helps.
