Teac sr-l200i, the ipod dock just started malfunctioning in the last hour. When I dock the ipod there is barely any sound. This is the case for all my ipods on this unit. The ipods are working on all my other docking stations. Darn frustrating. Any suggestions or help will be much appreciated.

I had the same problem but with a different TEAC docking product.
My TEAC would not recognize my ipod therefore I was unable to control my ipod via the docking station remote control.
Plug your ipod into the docking station and power down (reboot) your ipod. Once the ipod powers down (in the dock) restart the ipod (yes, while in the dock).

Oh, next time don't yank your ipod out of the docking station while it's playing. Power down, then remove. That's what buggered mine up.

Oh yeah, mine works fine now in the docking station.

How do I play my Samsung tablet thru my teac Sr l200i?

Looks like there is an AUX IN on the front - you need a cable to run from the headphone socket of your tablet to this input https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDEaJfbdKP8

I have lost the AM antenna. Where can I source one as I have no AM reception ?

hi,
you can get a generic AM antenna at radio shack or you can make one, its easy, all you need is a 10 foot piece of wire, coil the wire up in a circle and tape it so its a coiled circle about 5 inches across, leave the two wires hanging out about a foot to connect to the two AM terminals on the radio, the bigger you make the coil and the more coils you make the better reception you will get, turning the loop around changes the reception some
good luck

Have bought ipod nano 5th generation and find the sound is distorted when using my teac cx-225idab docking system. older version of ipod is fine. any clues.I thought it was the ipod and had it exchanged...

Usually, that will happen if the ipod is not compatible w/ the docking station. Try to connect the ipod to a different docking station to check if it will gonna do the same thing...

I cannot set the clock on my Teac MC-DX50i

I've found that I can only set the clock using the remote. Press and hold the 'time set' button on the remote, and using the forward and back buttons on either side of the play button, you can change your clock to a 12 hr or 24 hr time setting. Once that is set, press the 'time set' button and that will switch you to the hour, and using the same forward and back buttons, set that. Repeat the process to set the minutes. Press the 'time set' button again to exit out of if, and you're all set!

Blown transformer

I also have the GPX under-counter TV, same problem. I believe the transformer is AC-AC, because both wires out are red... I actually have two of these units, one doesn't work at all, the other has enough power to play the radio, but not the TV. I swapped the transformer from 1 into the one that was completely dead thinking #1 had a bad tuner, but the same symptoms exist now in #2, making me think that one transformer is completely gone and the other is malfunctioning. I'll try the VX 79NP on both and try to remember to post the results back here....

You'll probably need a charging adapter like the Scosche Passport, avaiable via the Apple Store.

Blown transformer

Greetings!

GPX just received this transformer in stock, at least for model KCLD8886DT. You can contact them at 314-621-2881 and follow the prompts (I think selection 2) or contact them via email at [email protected]. The transformer is $15 plus freight. Good luck!
