SOURCE: The sprayer nozzle is stopped up, i have tried

Dear Ishleor,
If the nozzle on your sprayer is metal you can use CLR (Calcium Lime & Rust remover) to break up the clog. If the nozzle is plastic you can use a sewing needle to clear the clog.
Yours Sincerely,Coach Dave

SOURCE: The sprayer nozzle is stopped up, i have tried

Round up 1.33 Gal Spray can have a bad pump or a clogged filter or both.
Test pump: pump the handle, does it get harder to pump after 10-15 pumps, when you open the cap does air rush out? If yes, pump is good, if not, wear rubber gloves, remove pump/cap assembly, remove inner tube from cap, the handle\ pump plunger will remair with the cap. if the o ring is dry, wipe it clean, put a little petroleum jelly on the plunger o ring To Lubricate it and prevent o ring wear and helps it seal air tight so the pump will work correctly. reassemble handle\cap make sure the Black inner black plastic hose aligns with the white spray hose .
If your pump passed the pump test, lool inside tank at the chemical fluid clean or does the fluid look like it has lumpy white clumps in the fluid, if so, empty fluid in tank into a clean throw away container look at rinse the tank out with water, strain the clumps out with a paper towl draped over the tank opening inserted about 2 inches into tank opening then when you slowly pour the fluid back in hold both end of the paper towel so it does;nt fall in tank the clumps will remain on top of the paper towel , Then your ready to clean the filter in the cap. Remove the black plactic tube from the pump, remove the white out side hose(squeeze the black connector to unlock the white hose , Then look in the hole the the black tube was inserted into, look for clumps (looks like lint from a clothes dryer, about the size of cotton ball, ) in that hole, to clean the clogged filter,I used low pressure air from an air tank, Blown into the hole where the white discharge hose was mounted. The clog should fall out of the opposite hole where the black tubs mounts. Reassemble and test, Also, the white spray tip turns out to change from spray to stream. Wash Hands good the chemicals can soak into your skin, some people are very allergic to the fluid

How to fix the wiper spray

The sprayer itself may be attached to the underside of the wiper arm and is removable. Carefully remove the sprayer, disconnect the hose, and turn on the wiper and the washer. It liquid comes out of the hose, the sprayer is clogged. If no liquid comes out, the hose could be clogged, so replace the hose. You need to find the other end at the black plastic manifold that divides the washer flow into the two sprayers. Disconnect the passenger side and blow into in, just in case to unclog it, then try again. If the washer is working for the driver side, that manifold is unclogged.

Soaking the sprayer overnight in vinegar could unclog it., but the sprayer is cheap to buy new.

Where is the fuse to the windshield wiper fluid sprayer on a 1999 Forester Subaru?

Have you tried taking a clothing pin and clearing the spray tip? I've had my WWF nozzles clog on me before, I noticed it when only one side was spraying. I just took a sewing needle and unclogged it, worked fine after that.

Won't seal and hold pressure

Try smearing some Vaseline on the gasket that goes around the pump shaft at the top.

Can I dilute Scotts Miracle Grow for use in my Ortho dial spray bottle?

Yes, you can use Miracle-Gro Water Soluable Plant Food in the Ortho Dial N Spray hose-end sprayer. Simply set the dial on the Dial N Spray to 4 ounces. The label rate for Miracle-Gro All Purpose Plant Food is 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. To make 8 gallons of finished spray, measure 8 rounded tablespoons of plant food into the Dial N Spray jar and fill the jar with water. Mix thoroughly. Set the dial at 4 ounces. When you have sprayed until jar is empty, you will have applied 8 gallons of properly diluted spray. Hilary@Scotts

Pump is presurized but no spray

Most weed killers and fertilisers either crystalise or turn to gel when left unused. Pull sprayer wand to pieces and run hot water through the hose and wand, they especially clog up at the spray tip and at the on'off control.

Clogged and can't get the weed killer to pass through the power wand

EASY FIX!
Hold the sprayer lower than the tank and run it until it sprays. You're done. They seem to lose prime, it usually happens to me when I run it completely out and/or first use (almost year round for us). Mine works fine every time I do this.
If that doesn't work, check the filter on the end of the hose in the tank, blow compressed air through it - NOT BY MOUTH!! Also check for any leaks/pinholes/kinks in the hose - they will **** air instead of solution!
I've had mine for 3 seasons in Phoenix and love it! I've n never had any of the other problems I listed personally. Handle the liquids like you handle gas for your lawn mower, etc:
1) Don't let any dirt to get in the solution.
2) Wash the system before storage ESPECIALLY AT END OF SEASON by spraying clean water through It for a couple of minutes or so and rinsing the tank. STORE INSIDE FOR THE WINTER if it freezes, it may trash it. Leaving anything stronger than Roundup (TM) in it for more than a week or so may eventually damage the plastics and/or seize the pump too.

Sprayer is spitting instead of spraying, why?

Either the fluid you are attempting to spray is too thick or the little holes in the spray head are partially clogged. Begin by running some small copper wire thru each hole to unclog it and see if that solves your problem. If not, filter the liquid you want to spray and dilute it as needed.
