I have never found a fuse in a cookerhood.
There a re a few possibilities why the light does not work.
1 is as you mentioned, the bulb. But that one is ok you say.
2 there is something wrong with the switch. But I would not look at that as the second opinion, as switches are expensive and difficult to change.
so possibility 3 is likely also.
3 the contact in the lampsocket is not ok.
I have no idea of the age of the cookerhood, but when the light is often on, the bulbs and the socket become very hot. The contact inside the socket is of metal and it normally has a little spring function. But due the the heat, that function can disappear and the contact will not reach the bulb. So no electrical circuit in the bulb and then no light.
Most cookerhoods have E14 screw lamp sockets.
On the picture in the link I send you, you see the red copper contact in the middle. It is that contact that must be bent a little.

When this does not work, then I suspect the switch.
