I was drilling the other day and when I went to remove the drill bit I found that I could move the grip to release the bit, any ideas on how can get the drill bit out would be appreciated.
If you trap the chuck in a bench vice or alike and then use the drill in reverse in short bursts until it loosens a good spray with wd40 will also aid the situation
First, spray stuck parts with WD-40. Give it a minute to work its magic. Then, hold steady the part that the chuck is attached to with a pliers and then twist the chuck clockwise with another pair of pliers.
