I hit the forget key I was trying to hook up my Bluetooth keyboard now I can't

This should be as simple as re-pairing the device. Put the keyboard in pair mode and your table into discovery Bluetooth settings and it should find it again.

Repair ACER Keyboard

Many a times, laptop's keys fell off the keyboard or it gets damaged. Don't fret on buying a whole new keyboard when you can repair the keys yourself.
This is an installation guide to repair keys of Acer’s laptop keyboard.

You should have a key cap and 2 or more retainer clips (plastic pieces), that goes underneath the key cap.

To install the key on your laptop keyboard, start out by observing the metal plates on the keyboard.

Always be sure to look at the metal keys because they differ in every keyboard. The larger metal hooks can be at the top, bottom, right or left side. The position of the metal hooks determines the position of plastic pieces.

Here you can see that it has one large metal hook at the bottom and two metal hooks at the top.

Take the larger plastic piece and observe that it has two holes at the top corners, two sticks at the bottom and two holes in the middle. The top holes are going to go into the top metal hooks on the keyboard. The smooth part of the plastic piece faces away from the keyboard.

Take the smaller plastic piece and observe that it has two holes at the top, two sticks at the middle and a bar with larger hole at the bottom. The sticks in the middle are going to go into the middle holes of the larger plastic piece. The bottom bar is going to click onto the bottom metal hook on the keyboard. The smooth part of the plastic piece faces away from the keyboard.

Place the smaller plastic piece onto the larger plastic piece and insert its sticks to the holes of larger piece. It’s one piece now.

Insert the top plastic sticks into the top metal holes and the bottom bar into the bottom metal hook on the keyboard. Get a thin object or a blade and stretch the plastic pieces downwards to insert completely.

Take your letter key cap, put it in the middle of the plastic pieces and push down evenly from all four sides.

The A key pop out of on my Toshiba satellite A205 laptop, how do I snap it back in?

More than likely you will need to replace the keyboard. Take a look at the two little plastic Us that are under the key to see if the tips that hold the key down are all still there. There should be one on each end. Also look at the keyboard plate to see if any of the 4 metal hooks have been flattened or broken off. If you are missing any of these you will need to replace the keyboard.

Here is a link that should help you on your way to purchase another keyboard:

The keyboard is alway held down by two screws hidden under a plate. Use the following page for replacement instructions:

Detailed user manuals

It took a little of hunting, but I found a support article on logitech's support website, that details how to setup macros for your g19 (including a link at the bottom on how to add mouse clicks to the macros!)

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Can't hook up mouse and keyboard

Okay, setting up the mouse and keyboard is very simple. The mouse should have a green end, and the keyboard has a purple end. They fit into the corresponding places in the back of the computer. Also both the mouse and the keyboard have flat sides. Try attaching them in the four different directions (e.g; up, down left, right). If that still doesn't work have them look at the wires to confirm that the wires are not bent, that could explain the problem, because the twisting could have caused bends in the PS2 Connector.

Inspiron 2650 Laptop keyboard is locked.

If the keyboard is locked ALL the time, try unpluging the power supply, remove the battery, then push and hold the power button and any key on the keyboard for at least 30 seconds. then reinstall the battery, plug the pwoer cord back in and reboot it.

I had the same problem and that is what the DELL techs had me do. I had the problemm frequently for a while and then it just quit recurring. I haven't had the problem for a long time now.

I hope this helps.

MIDI hookup

The midi port looks like the bottom one in the picture:
http://www.e-tech.nu/images/sound_connectors.jpg

You need a cable from the keyboard midi (din connector) to the DB-15 on the sound card/mainboard. If you dont have a 15 pin midi/game connector you could buy a soundcard with midi onboard or a usb midi port like the:
